sorry if this has been posted already!

I went today to get a new TV (been saving 7 months!) I had a thread about trying to find the right tv at the cheapest price. Long story short I had decided on a Vizio 42 in LCD for $648 ($50 cheaper because its a 2009 model)
I went this morning to get it and when I got back to electronics I asked if they had anymore. The guy there said yeah probably since everyones buying the Sharp's today....I'm like...whats the deal with Sharp...sale or something?
He said (in his Forrest Gump voice) yup..secret sale


ok...so I said which tv is on sale? He pointed to a Sharp 42 in LCD normally priced $700....then he said those magic words...it's $498 today!!!!!

He said I had to go to the front of the store and fnd the WM worker in the yellow vest and ask for it. I had seen this person when I came in but theres no signs for this sale and they weren't advertising it in any way!

I got back up to the front and they had ONE left I got it!!!!!

So I saved $163.21 today

I had never heard of the secret sales but wanted to post ....they also had Panasonic Plasma 46 in tv's for $7XX.XX and I saw Blue Ray DVD players on their cart too but I was too excited about my tv to ask how much they were.

I don't know how long this sale will last or if its just for today but hope someone else gets something good

yes!! I don't know how secret it was...LOL! It was part of the Pre-black friday sale. We've also been saving and waiting for a good deal. Hubby scored 1 of the ONLY TWO 42" they had!!! My Walmart only got in 2 42" and 2 46".

they had 6 of the Panasonic tvs left but I have no idea what they started with. I had been looking at BF ads but never saw this...so not a secret I guess......but secret to me!

Good job! I saw these online for the pre black friday sale, an awesome awesome deal. We just got one when they had a deal during the Spring/Summer or else I would have been down there this morning!

They also had a HP 15.6" Laptop for $298.00!!!! My DD wanted one for Christmas and I drove 45 mins. to get one of the last two they had. I am soooooooooo excited! The lady in electronics said "How did you know about these? I didn't even know about this? Some kind of secret sale." I told her I heard about it here and she said "Really, what was that address again?"

Awesome! I guess doing these pre-Black Friday deals gets people in earlier. I guess that is why Walmart was holding Zhu-Zhu pets (from another thread) until the sale today.

I received an email about these sales earlier this week.I think it was Wed. or Thur.They are doing it the next 2 Saturdays,but the electronics today.Glad you got in on the deal.

check walmart.com next weds. the new sat. sale items will be on there then.

These sales are only advertised on the Internet. No paper ads, in store ads etc etc. I was told that they were going to run Sat. specials every week until X-mas. We'll see. Some great deals today. We got a 46" T V, a Blue Ray Player, a regular DVD player and the Laptop. Our SWM had separate lines so my GF got in the Laptop line and I got in the T V line. When we were done there was still some Blue Ray's left so we got one those also. Saved a lot of money today. Can't wait for next week. Hopefully the sale will be Baby items. GF's oldest son's live in G F is pregnant so they/we need a lot of furniture.
