I have an acer laptop.... its the one that has the 8+ hour battery life... its ok but noticed it freezes up sometimes when I multi task! other then that awesome for trips with the battery life and the weight of it... super lite

Be Careful & read the fine print. It says some prices may vary in AK, Hi, OK & WI. Walmart ran a special like this last year. My parents bought the laptop that was on sale for $298 & a TV (I can't remember the price) We live in WI & all the prices were $100 higher than the advertised price. Something about WI having a state law & can't sell something under the retail price.....I can't remember exactly. So they had some friends in Minnesota buy the tv & laptop & get the advertised price.

I just called my Walmart-- they won't release the actually prices for us until Saturday morning at 8am. What a bummer! I am assuming all my prices will be about $100 more. I wish I lived in another state on Saturday

WI has a "minimum mark-up law" so essentially places can't sell things at a loss. The gas price portion of the law is being challenged right now in the court system
It was designed to protect "mom and pop" shops from big box retailers who could afford to sell things at a major loss to get people in the door (and buying other things to make up the difference) which would eventually put all the smaller retailers out of business allowing the big box to charge whatever they want.

Good and bad I guess, but I tend to be more of a free market person. This was probably way more then you were looking for.

Does anyone know if this is in store only? I was just looking online and for the xbox it says $100 e gift card? Wondering if it can be bought online also? It said 10 minimum per store.

Thanks! I just went to Walmart & bought this one. The guy said I have 15 days to return it if I don't like it. I actually need 2 laptops (me & DH). So we're gonna try it out & if we like it go & buy another one. DH has been leaning toward a $600 Toshiba but we really can't afford it since we need 2. Both of us start classes in Jan. so we're trying to save as much $$$ as possible. And we just found out our Lab has to have surgery Monday to have a huge mass removed from her side. (Not budget friendly-but we love her.)
