First store I went to, no problem.

Second store, I hand her the $5/20 coupon. Then I give her my other coupons..she started acting a bit weird with me. They had overcharged me on a clearance item so I had to go back into the store and I see my coupons all sitting out and she calls a manager and was telling me I had to bring everything back in because she was supposed to scan the $5/20 last. There was a note for them to scan that particular coupon after all the other coupons. Manager comes over and says well if you scan that last it won't work and said you are supposed to do it that way (scan first). When she kept telling me I had to bring everything back and fix it up I told her I'd just return it all (I would have and just gone to another store).

I think sometimes these special coupons they bring out for us to use are more trouble than what they are worth at times.

**Another thing she did that I forgot to mention was that she took all my coupons and used them how she wanted...I got the 2 Lysol toilet cleaner and wanted to use the 0.50c on each, then the BOGO Walgreens coupons..nope she did the BOGO first, so could only use 1 coupon. I asked her to scan my RR after the 5/20 and she said no and did that last but thankfully it went through. It didn't at the first store cause I had too many coupons. I was trying to hand them to her in the order that I wanted to but she wanted them all and rearranged them to her liking. I won't be going back to that store for any good deals again, I've had trouble with them before and I should have known better.

How rude! Like they could make you bring it all back in when you paid and have a valid reciept. Even if the q was supposed to be rung up first, it was thier fault for not ringing "correctly". Sorry that happened to you!

I had no problems but my total was over 20 even after coupons. Sorry about your experience.

The cashier asked me for the other coupons before she scanned the $5 off $20 coupon too. I gave her one coupon and gave her back the $5 off $20 coupon. She scanned it that time. The register kept beeping on every coupon I used, but she would enter it manually since it would beep. Guess I was lucky.

I would not have brought the stuff back in. If she did it wrong, it was her fault!

no problem using it in our area here in NWA. I gave the $5 coupon first and MQs last, even used $9.99 contour MQ with RC and the rest I used for rebate items. even after MQ, the $5 was not voided. I did only one transaction.

I also handed her the $5/$20 first...she did try and take my mnfctr Qs first, but I was quicker and said "nope, that one is the one I'm am using" then when she scanned it, I said "well I guess I will use these after all"....noone can make you give them anything in your possession in any particular order...they get what you hand them, when you hand it to them...whether you have the Qs out in plain view or not! I, thankfully have had 3 seperate good experiences and have picked up 2 fans, 4 Off Lamps, 4 Suavitels, 2 Sprites, and 3 Quilted Northern Toilet Papers for less than $34.xx OOP so far...did a fan, 2 suavitels, sprites and Quilted Northern on 2 seperate transacations at 2 seperate stores, then I did the Off lamps and 1 Quilted Northern at the other one! Not a great oop, but I really needed those fans to try and keep from having to turn on the A/C for another couple of months...so I basically paid for the fans and got everything else for free after their Q and my mnfctr Qs!

I can't get motivated to go make use of this coupon as I'm really in no mood to deal with problems. And at WAGS, it seems there are always problems.

I'm inclined to think registers are programmed differently. Or else, why is it that some registers takes the $5 WAGc together with MQs and it is not taken off when subtotal falls below $20 after MQs while at other stores, with or without cashier intervention,

the register just voids the $5 when MQs are used and subtotal goes below $20. I'm fortunate our stores does it the way I plan it, I know it can be frustrating when you have everything planned and the register does not cooperate. its a wasted trip for some .

Sorry for the bad experiences- remember though that the coupon is designed to get you in their store to spend money- just like the RRs are designed for you to come back and spend money.

I picked up a ink cartridge and a zantac both coupons beeped but she pushed them through and said to me she should of scanned the waq first(duh) well anyways I got the zantac and the ink for 12.00 after 3.00rr from zantac.....not bad since the ink was on sale and I desperatley needed to print more coupons

Everyone should get a laugh out of this. I was so excited about $5 Q@ yesterday and since I had to drive across the bridge to do something else, I was so excited to go to the over Walgreens. Well, alittle too excited. I get there and shop, and hand her a bunch of coupons and everything goes fine until she tries that one. There were 2 employees at the register.....The machine beeped and they both looked at the coupon and then the YOUNGER one said "Oh, this is good ONLY on the 23rd!" I said "Well, it is the 23rd". She corrected me and said....No it is the 22nd! HA! ANyway, I am glad to report that I did not really buy anything special for this, so it wasn't a BIG deal....I had to laugh!!

Today I went to the WG near my house and had no problems!

Wrigleys Gum 10 pk - 14 pkgs B1G1 2.49 - used $1 Q on each
Ocean Spray Cranberry Sauce - on clearance for 50 cents
Pantiliners they had on clearance 25 cents each
Bic Pencils they had on clearance

I had the $5/off $20 on top incase there was a problem....
But I had more than $20 of items so it would not have mattered I guess.
I spent $18.56 which I know doesn't probably sound that great to some of you, but I was going to buy the gum anyway for the Christmas Stocking Project....and I would have spent more than $17 right there...so I count the other stuff as a bonus!

This may seem weird but at my favorite Wags I've noticed that after they got the new catalina machine the registers got moody. After a few difficult trips my BA confirmed. She is WONDERFUL so whenever a coupon beeps she pushes it through. Needless to say I'm waiting until tonigh to do my shopping.

Sorry you had a bad experience. I have had that before and know to only go to the store I feel is more coupon friendly. I had no problem with my $5/20 and had used 2 in separate transaction of course. I always just hand the coupons to the cashiers one at a time. Good luck in the future.

that is so horrible who is she to say bring everything back after paying for it you now own all of it and as far as the qs I would hand the qs to her they way I want them used and she would scan as I hand them or we would not go on
