Nope, not just you. In fact I have not been in a Wags for quite some time. I do however notice that the drug stores will "take turns" in having great deals. Sometimes CVS is the place to be for a span of 6 or 7 months, then suddenly the sales will dry up and soon after Wags will pick up. There will always be a not so great sale/down time for stores.

CVS just had a really good couple of weeks, but WAGs has been dry for a while. Don't think its going to pick back up at WAGs though, as their RRs program is ending in September and they're going to the points system and MIR. From the looks of it, the good days are over for WAGs...

It is getting harder and harder to roll my RR from one two-week period to another. I planned on using them all up by the end of August to prepare for the new loyalty card in September, but it looks like I may have to speed up that timeline and just use them up (luckily, I only have about $12 worth....toilet paper, here I come!)

I was so excited to start rolling RR's from everything I learned on AFC, and come to find out - with the lack of available RR's the next few weeks - I won't even be able to do it! Sad, and sticking with RA & CVS for now

I've already used up all my rrs at meijer. Better to pay for my groceries than spend on things I dont need at wags.

| Your Meijer accepts RRs? That's awesome - maybe I should ask the SM.

| I called my Meijer and got the "go ahead" too. However, when I checked out at a reg checkout lane, the cashier didn't want to accept my RRs. I explained my conversation to him that I had with ________and then was transferred to ________who checked with someone else, who approved it. He called over the head cashier who approved bc she said she couldn't override the people who told me it was OK. What the heck - I went through all the sources avail to me to be sure I would be able to use these RRs - frustrating - plus a line was forming behind me :-/ I really don't know if it's worth the hassle or not, but I was able to use $30 RRs today anyway. I used up all of my RR's on random stuff already. With the points program coming in September, I doubt that I will ever go back to Walgreens.

I had something like $200 in RR's all expiring this week (I know, crazy me!) So, I have been going crazy on the Nivea stuff.....there are no q's decent enough to mail it a good deal, but it has fairly been decent to spend the $10, to get the $5 RR back, so.........thats what I have been doing. Also, Irish Spring Deo is BOGO, and I found the icy blast one to ring up $2.29, so each $1.15ish, not tooooo bad, but then I had $1 off q's found in the colgate boxes, so those came out to $.30 for 2.....but thats how I have been rolling. Its been okay...not too bad though.....I have been wasting RR's though on stuff I do not need....will see how long I last. |

| Walgreens hasn't done much for me for a while. I took my $8 in RR from the Mitchum deal and just spent it on random stuff like nuts and padded envelopes yesterday.

I haven't gone a couple of months. Not that many great deals. Easier and cheaper for me to go to Costco and not worry about. We only have 1 Walgreens. So any good deals they do have are gone asap. THere wasn't much stock to begin with anyway. I have gotten better deals on their website! Not free, but hey, I don't have to leave home and free shipping at $25.

I actually like Walgreens. I haven't been couponing long, though, (three months) so I can't compare the previous deals to the ones now. Out of all of the stores around here, though (all we have is Big Box ones plus this one Walgreens), the Walgreens almost always has the most savings. I'm sure if we had smaller grocery or other pharmacy stores, though, I might be disappointed. I made it to a CVS the other day (there's one around two hours away), and I was totally excited by the deals; they seemed to have a lot better ones.
