Curious to how mir's work with coupon usage. I took advantage of the covergirl olay and Venus deal & have enough to do the rebate that expires today & the thank you mom rebate. But my receipts all have coupons so should I black them out with a Sharpie or will they accept them as is? TIA

I have never had a problem submitting my receipts as they are with coupons showing. I get the promised amount back all the time. I list the price that the item rang up for in the space provided (before coupon)

I've done rebates for years now and if I buy them from WAG, I just ask for rebate receipts so I don't have to black out anything to make them say I submitted tampered receipts.

In my experience with P&G, it depends on whoever is processing the rebates whether they are strict or not. I've come across posts online where they got denied since they used coupons but nothing in the form said totals should be AFTER coupon. Many got their denials reversed while others did not. So to avoid the issue of coupons seen in receipts, I just ask for rebate receipts which shows the price and the UPC of the item and store name/date of purchase that is required. I have not been denied of a rebate (knock on wood) doing this.

Thanks I have not tried rebate receipts I will have ask for it next time. Hopefully I dont have any problems with the ones im going to submit *fingers crossed*
