| Starbucks Refreshers
I have heard about several Walgreens not having the Refreshers in stock, so I looked up all the local stores in the Alachua/Gainesville FL area and called several. Each told me that they have none in stock, and that the Pepsi truck was "just there." I called Walgreens corporate and expressed my frustration in their not having this product. I told them that I didn't know if the problem was on their side or Pepsi's and I didn't want to complain to the wrong party about it. They took a report, gave me a confirmation number for the report and said they'd have an upper management person call me to advise what store has this product and who is the responsible party for them not being in stock. It will be interesting to hear what they have to say.

Very interested to hear. Since more don't have it than do, it seems like it borders on false advertising....advertise this great deal, you get people to come into your store, then nothing. I've been to stores where the cashiers hadn't even heard of it, no spot for it on shelf, etc It's one thing to run out, but another to advertise it then look like you never planned to have it. The inline info is not accurate either. One store showed them as available when you check online, but not even a shelf tag when you get to the store.....

I went in to get some yesterday, of course they were gone so I just got some free Wet n Wild nail polish. I asked the cashier when Pepsi comes, he said today. I asked if there was a limit and he said he didn't think so since a lady came and bought like 20 all at once ..... This is the store that an employee yelled at me for getting 2 RR Kelloggs deals in one visit and someone gets 20 SB??? I just called to double check on when they'll have more, online it says they are in stock but she said they are all OOS until Pepsi delivers tomorrow, so much for online stock accuracy. I asked about the limit and she said she needed to check the ad, I said it doesn't say a limit she said ok let me check. She said the ad says limit 1. I just double checked the online ad and it doesn't say limit 1. I just hope CVS gets more, I'll keep using them as fillers. To HECK with WAGS and they're RR's. I'm so sick of them.... |

NO stores in my area has them. Very frustrating when the local paper had the coupons in it, yet no stores even carry them. I wanted to try them before the coupon expired so I went around to 8 different stores and not a single one carried them.

I didn't get a call back from corporate, which is disappointing to me. I received a call from the local store instead. I'm disappointed, because if I had wanted to speak to someone in the local store, I would have...wait.....oh, snap! I did! I called and they told me they were out of product!!! I wanted to talk to someone in corporate, because evidently this isn't just a local store issue, it seem to be a regional, and perhaps from what I'm reading here, maybe even a national issue. It's sad that if I take the time out of my day to call corporate and report an issue, the least they can do is take the time to return that call. That's just professional courtesy, or lack thereof in this instance. Anywho, the local store called me and although they were very kind and understanding, there was no real resolution. They told me that when things go on sale, especially if it's a new item, they have no idea how well it's going to do, so it's hard for them to make sure they have plenty in stock, blah blah blah....and they didn't know coupons would be available along with the sale. They've also placed a call to Pepsi to get more product, but the Pepsi truck only comes once a week. Again, every person I've ever encountered has been more than polite and professional. This appears to be a planning oversight, and upper management who so very conveniently won't return calls, doesn't seem to care much. I'm happy to take my money and my coupons elsewhere. It's just makes me sad that they can't do any better. |

i complained over a week ago about a different wags problem and i am still waiting for corp to call me back. wags is starting to act kinda snooty lately like they don't care if they keep our business. i personally and professionally am advising my patients to switch their prescriptions as a collective bargaining tool to get wags to treat us loyal customers like the asset we are not like a dust bunny to be swept under the fridge.

While I understand everyone's frustration, this isn't a Walgreens issue. Walgreens can only stock as much product as Pepsi sends them. They can order 50 cases but if Pepsi only delivers 3 (this is the exact scenerio at one of my Wags), then that's what they get. The real 'villian' here is Pepsi. Pepsi knew they had issued a coupon in the Sunday paper, they knew they had made a $1/1 coupon available for a short time, they knew they were going to be putting the item on sale at numerous stores, and then they did not produce enough stock. In truth, by limiting the stock the way they did, Pepsi pretty much guaranteed how many coupons could get redeemed. If you only want 10,000 coupons to be redeemed, then you only send out 10,000 of the product. I'm guessing that was their plan, or they really just didn't realize the run that was going to happen thanks to the coupons and sales. So basically it's either really smart (and sneaky) planning by Pepsi...or it's really really REALLY poor planning by Pepsi.

I went to CVS and got 6. Showed them my free coupons and told them that they'd have to do each transaction separately, and the manager was nearby and said, "that's alright, we can do them all at once." Very cool! @sunbladedgrn: I completely agree. @ Kizzmet: Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifices you and your husband have made in his service to our country. God bless you both. |

I've been getting them all week at CVS, actually since the day the FREE q came out CVS had them stocked. That CVS is right across the street from the WAGS, like right across the street. I just use them as free fillers since they've been sold out of Good N Natural. I was hoping to get a few .99 RR's to use in the future but it doesn't look like that will happen. Not sure why CVS would get plenty but not WAGS, has to be the same delivery guy. Online it says my store has stock, I really think they don't put the stuff on the shelf that is free. That's what happened with Nasal Ease, no limit sign on the shelf just no product. Now if I were to try to take 2 SB Refreshers guaranteed someone would've had a fit, then the cashier tells me a lady got over 20 in one trip? I just want to be there the day they let someone they know get 20 of something knowing they have confronted me several times for only getting 2 or 3 of something, not even a free item. One thing that is good about my store, I've noticed a lot of new faces so hopefully they don't become jerks like the staff that has been there for a while. He actually smiled and was friendly, very weird.... I asked him if he was new, he has been there one month. YAY! New happy people! |

I went to the Wlagreens near me. They didnt have them either. So the nice manager gave me a raincheck for .99 refreshers and to take 2.00 off anything I bought

That was nice of them Problem is the free q's I'm using expire Saturday so a rain check won't help me and with rain checks you don't get RR's. At least they will be free for you if you have the $1 q's that expire in Dec. Just got some of those in the mail so maybe I'll try to get some rain checks if worse comes to worse. |

Wow, too bad everybody is having such problems. I just picked 40 Refreshers up at my local Walgreens (didn't preorder either) and they asked me if I wanted to get them by the case because they have soooooo many left. Seems like Pepsi did a poor job distributing evenly. |

If you are getting a case of them, don't they still have to ring them all separately so that you get the RR?

| As far as I know, there are 12 cans in each case. So, if you want 12 99c RRs, each can will need to be rung up separately. HTH~

| I didn't even get into that ... had already used all my coupons ... but otherwise I would have definitely had them ring up separately. I think what they meant was to scan the same can over and over again, but let me get the prepacked cases so I can store them easier. Hope that makes sense.

My walgreens actually ordered them for me. Asked what flavors I wanted and called to tell me they were in the next day. How's that for service. Go Brighton, CO Wags!

My Walgreens haven't had them each time I checked. Same thing happened with the 20 oz. Pepsi next. I got the same story that it is all on Pepsi. Okay so be it. But I think they should have allowed me to get a raincheck. And for the stores that have people getting 20 at a time so that the next customer can't get one.....shame on you. Personally I wish they would put a limit on transactions per day.

I live in Virginia and I have been to 5 different wags and no starbuck refreshers. However, I was able to find 5 at the store in Vienna, VA.

| Two of each individual RR item per store per day. Most people have more than one Walgreens in their town so I think 2 per store is adequate. JMO Please don't shoot me. LOL
