the beep is due to sale price of .99 and your total coupon amount is $5 for $4.95 worth of Aquafresh.

next time, just ask the cashier to manually enter the last $1 to .95 and they should all go through. all you have to pay is sales tax, if any.

adjusting a coupon to their sale price is within their policy so ask for an AM if the cashier does not know how to enter a coupon manually.
