I haven't seen this posted here yet, so I figured I should share. Mentos UP2U gum is on sale for $0.99 and there is a Wags Q in the April book for $1/2. Stack that with the $1/2 MQ and you get it for free. All varieties/flavors are on sale, not just the two kinds that CVS had a month ago.

You can try, just make sure that you have enough in your order to cover your overage. I'm not super familiar with the new registers yet (my stores just got them a week ago) so I don't know if they'll kick one of the coupons out or not. But, worst case scenario, you get it for free!

Got 12 today, used $6 MQ's and WAGS Q. Pain in the BUTT ! Cashier said no no no, wrong gum, had to explain she still said wrong gum because pic was of the little canister of Mentos. She wouldn't read it ! Anyway mgr tried to explain it to her, he said forget it come with me to photo lab. He said he's had that problem with her often, he couldn't get the MQ's to scan, didn't know why, manually adjusted it and I walked out with 12 gum completely free.

I feel bad, I want to know why it's causing a problem, I don't want cashiers to have to deal with problems with something that should scan no problem kwim? Anyway, he was nice but still...would've been nice if it didn't cause him to spend 10 minutes trying to get everything to work.

I think the reason the q's aren't scanning is because they are like $.02 over the value of the items after the coupon in the WAGS book gets scanned. Mine beeped too, but cashier pushed them through. I wonder if it would make a difference to scan man q's first then WAGS book??

Another scenario you can do is if you want the canister style Mentos gum, the one pictured in the Savings Book, you can use the $.55/1 MQ. I bought 20 and used 18 MQs. So...

20 @ .99 = 19.80
WAGS Q - $10.00
MQ 18 @ .55 = -9.80 (Final MQ adjusted to $.45)

The sale isn't advertised in an ad, there is a sticker at the product that says it goes all month long, but I'm not sure if that means the sale price of $.99 or just the $1/2 coupon. I guess we will know on Sunday.

Yes that is why it would beep if you run the Manf Q first then the wags q then it wont beep

I said the same thing to the manager, he said they won't/don't do MQ's first. Not even one MQ would scan, he said he didn't understand why since there was still a $5 balance. Who knows....

Just updating... it's a monthly sale (my store had the monthly tags on the gum). The Up2U mq wouldn't scan, but my jedi cashier manually entered it. The regular Mentos mq's scanned no problem. I gave the mq's first and then he scanned the IVC, then entered the Up2U mq. I'm definitely going back on truck day! My DH loves this gum so I'm always on the hunt for a good deal! Thanks to the OP!
