I've got a love/hate thing going on with Walgreens. Love getting things and being reimbursed at least part of the cost with RRs. Hate all the little hoops I have to jump through to use them.

I wanted to get a bottle of melatonin, had to go to several stores. As I was leaving one, my favorite cashier asked me how I was doing and I told her I was about to have a "Walgreens hissy fit" because I was so sick of not being able to find the melatonin. She asked for my name & phone number and said she would personally see to it that when the next batch came in one would be saved in the office for me. I thanked her and figured I'd never get that call.

They called! Not only did they call, but the manager gave me my bottle with a $4 RR taped to it to soothe my troubled soul! Then, when I paid for it, they said, "Oh, here's another RR for you!"

Congratulations on getting such great service from your Wags store. They should all be so nice to us! I only have one store in our area and they are super nice and very coupon friendly!

I know each and every employee by name and they know mine; and when I walk in the store I get a greeting like that of the old tv show, "Cheers".

I had a similar experience but it was a BA. She offered to take my information down and call me ASAP. She said a crazy lady waits outside the doors to wait for them to open at 7 am. This same lady has cleared the majority of the store in El Paso. I have almost given up. The BA even complains that this lady is out of control. Even if she is donating them or whatever it's extremely rude to clear shelves before people even have a cup of coffee. If people are going to clear shelves they should at least make a special order with the store. So rude! Luck you! WAGS does have some above and beyond employees.

I had a positive experience today also. Went into get the Pure American water for $2.49; they were out so I asked if there was any in the back, there wasn't but I was given a case of the Nestle water for the same price .... or I could of got a rain check. I got the water today since I needed it.

Also had a Wags assistant manager tell me that the "coupon lady" grabbed all their stock on Sunday morning. Then, she said, "When the truck came in, 'all the military wives' arrived and the same thing happened mid-week."

If you guys are positive that it is one person clearing the shelves first thing sunday morning then you need to call corporate and let them know

Its unfair to call because multiple people are coming and clearing or they just don't have enough but if its just 1 person and the store is allowing them to do it a quick call to corporate more then likely will have them get on the the store about it and limit this person - And if it continues to happen another quick call eventually the store manager will get tired of corporate hounding them and they will limit them
