My Wags had 2 Cortaid on sale for $2.99 each. There's a mq for $3 which would make it free. I also received a breathright catalina for up to $7.95. I went to another Wags and they only had one available but no q for breathright. I'm thinking if you buy multiple, this q may print. My bf is in the military and this come in very handy when he's out in the field.

This is so irritating! I went to 2 different stores and they won't let me use the coupon because it's over the value of the product. I m going to try again at a different store tomorrow..

The exact same thing happened to me when there was the $3/1 mfg q and the $2/1 Walgreen in at q a couple of weeks ago. Said they couldn't use both coupons because it exceeded the value. I ended up just using the 3/1 and having to pay the difference. Grrr I emailed corporate and received an email back from the store manager telling me to bring my receipt back in and he would refund my $$$. I sure wish cashiers would know the rules.

Yes I've had that too - I tell them you can adjust down and they say I can't buy something for less than the coupon value!?? I'm going to try with cortaid tomorrow and see....would like that breathe rite coupon but is it printing???

Went into Wags to use my one Cortaid $3 q...found a Cortaid product normally priced at $7.xx but on sale for 3 99... Brought to the cashier and it rang up for 2.99 and she told me I had to buy something else. I told her she can adjust q down per the coupon policy....she acted frazzled at that suggestion and then called the manager who came up and quietly tried to suggest she punch certain buttons on the cash register...doing it himself ...then he handed me the item and receipt...and out I went....loving it as that cashier who is also the BA at that store has made snarky comments about couponing before....:::::::grin:::::::

I don't know why cashiers have such an attitude when we use q's. We're actually bring them revenue. Our q useage isn't taking from their pocket or their paychecks. As long as the right q is used for right item, they should be happy their store is still open and they have a job. I love a good deal but I only purchase what I need. I don't feel that since it's free, I need to clear the shelf. I work hard for my money. Why pay full price if I can get a great discount? I'm usually polite to the cashiers and I smile and strike a conversation while they scan my items and q's. Just asking them how they are doing makes a great difference in their attitude.

Amen to that! I love a good deal and normally don't clear the shelves either. But I'm stocking up on as much cortaid as I can because my ds and dh go thru a ton of it! Went to wags yesterday and got two. The cashier told me I couldn't use the q because she couldn't give me money back. I told her just to adjust it down to 2.99 and she said that was against their policy. Finally got her to get the manager and they went thru just fine. After the manager left, the cashier told me that I was breaking their rules and not to try it again. Really???? I guess she didn't like being corrected.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to how you get these Cats. Unless you always pay with the same credit card or your bank card the system would have no idea of what you have bought in previous transactions. Since OOP is so low for me usually I pay with cash.

I'm saving my $3/1 coupons for next week's Cortaid BOGOF sale...my WAGS will give me the overage without problems.
