I bought 7 of the pure absorb iron , then saw signs up at my store saying it was recalled .. I asked the manager if I should return it and she said to call the Nelson company and they would send me a box to return it in and exchange the product for free , Well I called them that day they asked me some info about they product and I provided them with a copy of my receipts ... long story shortened I am getting a check in the mail for $120 b/c 6 of the 7 I bought are part of the recall so I made $134mm on pure absorb iron ...sweet week at wags

This was not a recall, according to the company, however you can get a replacement or a refund if your box was part of the batch #s.

(Here's the info from their page: Spatone pur-Absorb Iron Supplement has not been recalled. Due to Iron oxidation and the potential resulting product discoloration, Nelsons has taken corrective action on lot numbers with the suffix: 428,429,430,431,432,436,437,438 and 439. This is not something that we have experienced previously with our product, and there is no health hazard if consumed. This situation is limited to a few batches shipped by Nelsons between December 2011 and early January 2012 and has been corrected for all subsequent batches. Nelsons will gladly replace the product or give you a full refund. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Feel free to visit our media center for additional information or contact us at 800-319-9151 if you have further questions or concerns.)

How is getting a refund for a product that was deemed eligible for a refund from the company being greedy? It really should not matter what tender was used at the time of purchase, provided whatever I used was deemed appropriate. I am still out whatever tender I used to purchase the item, so I should be compensated.

Bc if u really want just refund you should get it for what u pay for. So 6boxes would be 60 dollars not 120. Otherwise its greed, proove me wrong

If you got a refund of $60 from the manufature for there defective product waited in the mail for the check to come the product would not be on sale anymore and you would have to purchase it at 19.99 per box that is why they refund the suggested retail price of the product at 19.99 per box , its not greed only math ...... and the stores dont have "good" product to exchange it for

Oki then, if u look at it that way oki. I use lots of iron, like bifera better,but i bought these and offcourse i got bad batch but they told me there is othig wrong with that product just some color problem. So im keeping it
