Price Adjustments?

Does Walgreens do price adjustments for items that go on sale?

That is what I thought I would need to do but then I am going to lose the value of my coupons. I bought 4 deodarants at 2.79 each= 11.16 plus tax. After I used both my 1.50 off 2 coupons, I paid 9.05. If I return them I will only get 9.05 back and will end up paying around $8.00 to rebuy. I gues it isn't worth it. The deodarants are on sale this week for $1.99. When you multiply the difference in what I paid versus sale price by 4, well that's 3.20. Oh well, maybe next time.

my store's policy is to refund the full amount paid regardless of any coupons used. however, i have found this not to be the common practice as i've had to have long discussions to recoup my coupon value. this answer was email to me by the manager of my local store through the contact us button from the WAG website - all stores initially want to just refund out of pocket but stand up for yourself - WAG policy is to scan returned items at price paid and issue refund based on that amount + tax

This is something I do not understand. They collect the 2.00 from the Q. So why don't we get the 2.00 back. I took some toys back to Target. Was shocked to get the full $84.00 back including the $10.00 x 2 I used to buy them. That is how it should work. All of it. Not some of it!

I have always gotten the full price I paid back, especially if I was doing a price adjustment. The exception would be if I were to use a Walgreens coupon that was not valid at the same time the lower price was.
