In addtion to the other items listed by PPs (deal of the week and IVC), i use the $1 boxes of hawaiian punch and wylers drink mix packets. DH takes these to work every day and we go through a lot of them in the summer. i know its a little high for a filler, but i spend $1 on these when i buy them at walmart or dollar tree anyways, so might as well make them useful. i also check the clearance end caps to see what i can dig up, recently i found .50 fleece baby blankets and stocked up for baby gift baskets and for my baby |

One of my stores have sport silly bands for .10 & another has webkins for $1. I know $1 is a lot for a 'filler' in most books, but for a toy that retails for around $7 I couldn't pass it.

Have the large round lipops been mentioned? They are near the front registers at 59c each or 2/$1.

One store was JUST putting out clearance tags on the gardening stuff. Seeds were 80% off for a cost of .20. Great filler and great for the garden!

We got the spice drops for .49 as a filler for one transaction this week. Our store also started selling 2 lb. bags of apples for 1.99. I used the overage from the fish oil to pay for the apples--not a cheap filler, but healthy snack.

yah, I finally decided that if I gotta spend $.35 on a filler and I can chose between candy and say, toilet paper, it's gonna be toilet paper.

where is that coupon located? Please let me know. I always need them the electrolytes help me recover from painful muscle injections I get every week. Although there might be a better way to get them my Dr. wrote it on a script for me so it counts as a medical expense. I would think if he knew of something better he would tell me. I have ALOT of OTC costs or I wouldn't bother.ALWAYS WILLING TO TRADE FOR VITAMIN WATER Q'S! |

I hope this has not already been mentioned, I did a search and didn't see anything. As I try to become a more organized newbie this week I started writing fillers on my Wags Q policy and on my list. The store nearest me doesn't have the carmels. This morning I used a Nestle candy .39 on the flier. Previously I used sippy cups on clearence for .50 they have names on them but I am putting together a small bag for the place that helps women who are victums of domestic violence. Leaving in a hurry may not going to grab a sippy cup and don;t care about the name. Toothbrush deal this week is also a good item for charity. Also note pads on clearence for $1. You know we are always making lists to work out our deals and its cheaper than notebook paper-well maybe not as I get more advanced I am sure I will find a way to get that free. Also on the end cap with allergy items I found a trial size Breath Right strips and they contain a $1 off Q! . I love the list and everyones ideas and am going to print it out and put with my policy as my brain can get to spinning when in the store and trying to figure things out. Thank you everyone I love this community |

but I will look at Wal-mart tomorrow. In just a few weeks i have so much to trade being just a single person.BTW peeps, I saw tear pads for Mitchum Advanced Control $1 off and there is an in add Q for $1.99. = .99 I was looking where to post when I came across this thread. Now an hour later.....I was elated to see them because I forgot my $off q at home and wated to daonate one. Darn gotta get a binder and be better organized. If there is a person working in cosmetics I try to check out there. Last week one told me she had lots of coupons behind the counter and to let her know what I was considering purchasing. It seems they need to ring up sales to justify their position and therfore seem to be more friendly about my coupons. I had trouble finding the new health and beauty mag. Asked each time I was in the store. Finially got one from the woman in cosmetics and she was VERY coupon friendly asking do you need these items rung up seperate? |

We are new to this but my husband did very well in findingy fillers last week! He found clearanced hair magnets for a nickel each that our granddaughter can use and those little rubberband bracelets our grandchildren love for a dime. Yesterday I went back to grab a few more things and ended up finding Disney poster calendars that our grandchildren can hang on their walls on clearance for a dime as well! Can't wait to see what we find to use for fillers today!

Arizona Green Tea cans (or others) when they are on sale for $0.50, which is a lot of the time! This is something we buy all the time so its also not a waste. We also have been lucky to have a lot of $0.05 tape and $0.10 seeds in the clearance section for the past month or so that I have been using when the Tea is not on sale. |

I got this idea from another person on here but I thought it was an awesome idea!! She used a .99 card for her filler which who doesn't buy a birthday card at least once a year? perfect filler and it's useful (i'm one of those people who is always out getting my card on the day of the holiday or birthday. . so this would put me one step ahead too.)

I had the same thing happen to me last week. I had some BOGO Hersey's bars I could have used if I thought about it since it is 2 items and 1 coupon. I did a trip today and should have used some fillers to have less OOP. This week the Men's Blistex works because it has no coupon, you pay $2 but get $2RR.
