I picked up the Duracell 4 pack AA rechargeable batteries today for $10.99 - $2.00 MF coupon and then there's the $5.00 rebate in the ES catalog for a total of $3.99 and on another receipt I got the Duracell mini charger with 2 AA batteries for $9.99 -$3.00 MF coupon and $5.00 rebate for a total of $1.99. This EasySaver savings ends tomorrow that's why I just got back.

Yesterday I got the Keri Milk body lotion. There is a $5.00 MF from a couple weeks ago and a $10.00 rebate in the EasySaver book. It was priced at 15.99 so oop will be .99. It really is awesome!

I went today and got 2 sunsilk conditioners and 2 24/7 creams @ $1.89 each and handed the cashier 4 coups. The first 3 scanned with no problem but the fourth wouldn't. He said something about using my limit on that coup. Whatever, I ended up paying $.39 for each which is pretty good.

I got hershey's kisses for .50 a bag. They have them onsale for $2 for 2 and there was a 1/2 coupon a few weeks ago.

Plus I got some extra dark items for my mom. They have them store coupon for $1/1 off in their December book and there was also a 1/2 Hersheys coupon in the same insert. One I bought was 1.69 and one was 3.29.

So I got 6 bags of kisses and two bags of extra dark chocolates for $6.26.

Here is where "register logic" comes in handy. The register refused your 4th coupon because the sale price had been exceeded. 4 at $1.89 = $7.56 ~ so 3 at $2 would come off but the 4th would beep (at CVS it would beep and prompt the cashier to enter $1.56 as max value)

You could have:
4 @ $1.89 clearance Sunsilk
1 @ $2.44 or + Sunsilk

Then the register would basically be applying the overage from units 1-4 ($.11 each) towards unit 5.

I did this when the Post-it were clearanced for $1.49 and we had $2 off mfr coupons I used the $.51 overage per unit towards higher priced Post-it items.

NOTE ~ overage at WG is only possible when A) a Walgreens coupon (EasySaver booklet or in-ad coupon) and a mfr are combined or B) the cashier overrides a beeping coupon.

I am truly amazed by how knowledgeable you are, not just in this post but I have read other post for other stores (CVS and such)
