Hot RUN to Walgreens!

Run to Walgreens and buy 2 of the Revlon Colorsilk hair colors on sale 2 for $6, with coupon in Walgreens ad. Use the $1/2 coupon from 8/5 SS. Add tax and pay.

Watch the catalina machine for a $10 Register Rewards from Revlon!

I have done this deal 9 times now! I made $4.64 each time for an extra $41.76. I have been rolling them into GC and buying the Pepsi.

***Pepsi Deal***
At my store they had the pop on sale for $2.20. I bought 5 (including Diet Cherry Pepsi and Diet Mt Dew) and then gave them the coupon. It took off another $2.50 making the pop only $1.70 a 12-pack!

I can't wait till they finish building the Walgreen's here. It's all the way on the other side of town, but it sure looks like it'll be worth the drive!

It worked for me too! My question is next time I will use the $10 RR to pay for the haircolor and get some other things too. What happens with the leftover money from the RR?

Make sure you spend it, or you lose it. It's better to pay a little and use it all, than to not pay anything and lose out on free money!

My suggestion to use it on one of the Free after rebate item to use it up. What ever is left on the $10 they get to keep so try to never give them any of it.

Could I use the $10 and buy a giftcard and then use the GC to buy the haircolor, and then use that $10 to add to the GC?

Yes you can, but that may be a YMMV thing. Some stores won't do it, but all the ones I frequent will. That's your best option in my opinion, so GOOD LUCK!

Dumb question, but I'm not that familiar with Walgreen's programs. Are their register rewards like CVS's ECB??? I thought they only had that mail in rebate program.

A register rewards is very similar to CVS's ECB's, but the best thing about Walgreens is that they are unlimited!

You can use both the Walgreens and a Man. coupon. The same goes for a Target coupon...you can add a man. coupon also!

Register Rewards they are a amount that you can use on your next shopping. The Relvon $10.00 one is for $10.00 off your next shopping trip so you can use it for anything in the store.

For those of you that are doing this multiple times, is this all at once, or are you leaving and coming back? I was able to get the $10 rolled to a GC at one store, but then I wanted to used the $10 RR and was told I had to do it at another shopping time, so I went to another store and tried to put the $10 on my GC and they said they couldn't do that because the RR's expire and gift cards don't and also the RR's are supposed to be spend on amounts over $10. So I will have to travel between two stores to do this deal!

Another question, what is everyone doing with all this haircolor. I am giving some to family members, but was thinking about donating some to a shelter. Anyone with any other ideas?

I think this is definately a YMMV thing. For me it is also the checker I get. Several of the Walgreen's in my city have no problem with it. I was able to do 5 orders at one store today back to back, not leaving the store, and buying gc's inbetween orders when I needed to. Then I went to another store and did the exact same thing again with no problem. One of my friends was able to do the same thing at one store, but at a different store across town, they told him he couldn't use the RR for a gc.

So are you rolling the balance onto the same gc or onto a new one each time? Which means you have many small gc's.
