Just a little info that MIGHT help someone. While I was at Walgreens tonight..I had 4 RR's totaling $29.00 - And I haaaaaated to use them all up at once...BUT two were expiring today AND my DH was in need of that *&%^! expensive ($26.99) Prilosec...so I bought it....along with a bunch of other stuff: pens, chocolate, pringles, an Intuition razor system and when I got to the register I asked the VERY nice manager lady...can I still use all these RR's together ya think?? And she said "sure, BUT it MIGHT NOT take 2 $10.00 ones. But we can try." - I said okay. And she said "Heeey, it worked out" "Your total is only $11.79 - down from like $54.00 - can't beat that, good job!" I love my Walgreens. I walked outta there feeling great..despite the fact that my husband just ATE my RR's and now I have NONE...LOL

Anyway...just a possible caution to you all.

Consider it a blessing that you had the RR to use to get something he really needed.

O.K. so I am trying to learn about all of the good deals. I haven't figured out yet what RR's are. Can anyone tell me?

Bailey: They are Register Rewards - dollars in receipt form (also called catalina) that print from a separate machine that you get back for buying certain products (for example: Buy Kellogg's Cereal 4 for $10.00 and get $5.00 in Register Rewards - so it would be like you only ACTUALLY paid $5.00 for 4 boxes of cereal!) And you can use them on your next visit...or use them at your convenience. Just be sure to note the exp. date. HTH

WOW!! I didnt know that they did that...I will have to shop at walgreens more often. They take Manufacturer coupons too?! I could save quite a bit of money shopping there. Thanks ladies you ALL have helped me save SO much money!!

Sorry but this is a big pet peeve of mine -- no, it's NOT "like you only actually paid $5" because you will pay $10 out of pocket THEN get the RR's which are good on your NEXT transaction. If you do this same deal on the next transaction, THEN you can say you paid $5 out of pocket. You cannot count the RR's toward your 1st transaction.

Spunki...that is what I was saying. I think it's obvious that on FIRST transaction you would HAVE to pay full price. That was just a "light" example to explain what they are. Maybe it just wasn't explained well enough.
