Walgreen RR question

This week the deal is "Buy 4 Kellogg cereals for $10, get $5 RR"

My question is this:
If I buy 12 Kellogg cereals in one transaction, will I get $15 in RR? Or only $5?

Does anyone know??

(I don't want to break up the transaction, b/c I want to use the CRT for the Kellogg $10 MIR. And the MIR states "one transaction")

Thanks!

No..I bought 10 yesterday, got $5. But, I am reading that others have bought 4 cereals and then the Nutrigrain and the cheezit and Pop-tarts and are getting $5, $5 and $1...apparently they are separate RR deals...HTH

ah! I can do it that way.

Esp since they probably wouldn't have 12 boxes of cereal that I want. Stock isn't like the grocery store!

That is exactly what I did, matched up perfectly with the coupons & RR's, (2) $5's and (1) $1 RR's spit out

Transaction #1:
(2) Kellogg's Smart Start - used $1/2 coupon
(2) Kellogg's Special K - used $1/2 coupon
(2) PopTarts - used $1/2 coupon
(2) Nutrigrain - used $1/2 coupon
(2) Cheez- Its - used (2) .55 coupons

After RR's, coupons, and rebate: profit of $2.10 (not including stamp & tax)

Transaction #2:
(2) Kellogg's Smart Start - used $1/2 coupon
(2) Kellogg's Special K - used $1/2 coupon
(2) PopTarts - used $1/2 coupon
(4) Nutrigrain - used $1/2 coupon

After RR's, coupons, and rebate: profit of $1.00 (not including stamp & tax)

Oooooooooooo! Good catch....

I never even thought about it not printing multiples. Guess I'll have to do my Kelloggs rebate a different way since I'm not really interested in the cereal.......

Thanks for the heads up Lynda & Kelly!

Just take it all back and re-do it.

For some reason, it only gave me one $5, even though I did the cereal/nutrigrain/poptarts thing. :| Hmmm... Maybe I'll take it back and redo it too.

Just a general question about RR's. Do you get them anytime you buy something or do they just come out for specific products?

Thanks!

This week when you buy Kellogg's cereal (4) you earn $5.00 in RR...so Yes it's on specific products...it's like a catalina...it's generated when you buy the item that generates the RR. It will be in the ad. Hope I didn't confuse ya.

Sorry for all the questions, I am still trying to figure this out! Okay, so looking at this week's ad, it says purchase $15 in Unilever products and get $5 RR back. Is the $15 before or after manufacturer's coupons?

Thanks again

I went the other day and bought 4 boxes of frosted flakes, 2 boxes of cheese its, and 2 boxes of nutrigrains. I forgot I had coupons *newbie mistake* so I payed 20 and got two $5 RR Then I took those to Albertsons bought 5 bottles of Bar-b-que sauce at 5/5 and recieved $5 off my meat or milk order. So I picked up some pork chops and walked out of Albertsons for 4.87 Not bad but I can't wait to get better at this.
