The Bitter & the Sweet

Today was bitter and sweet in Walgreen's for me. I was trying to qualify for the Norvartis deal, make sure I had right items, running back & forth in store trying to find items, finding my coupons I had brought in, finding the deals in the easy saver book, looking at the coupons/deals in the ad and here is what I ended up with.

$43+ in Norvartis products
Total purchase for day $66+
Oop after my coupons, easy saver coupons, ad coupons, sale prices $32+. So I got it for ~ 1/2 price.

I got $12 in RR back OYNP. I also got $6 in RR for another one of the products I bought (specific product use).

I asked shouldn't there have been more than $12 in RR for the Norvartis deal. No, it is purchase $25 OR MORE to get $12 RR.

So the bitter is...... I should have broken it out into 2 purchases. Maybe next time I'll get it together better.

vdrsolo has posted more than 75 good deals!
yep, I do the bare minimum to get my RR's

I did (4) Novartis deals this week, with a profit of $11.00 after my RR's (not including tax.

I did 13 P&G deals this week, did 7 of them Sunday while the 16's were printing out, having figured out my profit, but was probably at least $50.

I think you did just fine. The more you go do these deals the better you get at them. No one was perfect at first we all had to do baby steps before we were able to run. Hang in there you will get it and telling others how to do it. Have a Great Night!

After walking out of Target hainvg spent $2 on 100 jars of babyfood one time, and spending $3.25 for 2 pakcages of diapers, 2 packages of wipes, 2 Kandoos, and 6 jars of baby food, and after getting several products free at Walgreens in just the last 2 weeks..... I find myself balking at 50% off prices myself. I know how ya feel. I wish I could get everything in life for less than a dollar or completely free. LOL!!
