I can't believe I forgot to tell you guys this!!!! Well, I get to the counter at my WG and the little cashier girl..so nice....sees my coups in my hand and WITHOUT hesitation says...oh, you've got toothpaste...I have coups for those I think...and she proceeds to pull an envelope out from behind the counter!!! Not hiding or anything....so I think MAYBE it was okay...seeings how a mgr was just a few feet from where we were...Full Of MFR coups!!!!! I told her...I think I've got what I need right here already....and she's like well let me see...maybe they are different....I finally said..no, it's okay...I'm good...well she ended up scanning one..I think...still not sure what went on there...BUT..I said...you didn't scan anything that's gonna mess up my deals here did you??? I planned this all morning"......So anyway..has anyone ever done this for you?????

At mine, the cosmetic girls keep coupons also. They get a commission for all the sales rang up through them. And yes, it is ok for them to have the coupons.

I have had this happen a few times, mostly at the cosmetics counter. My understanding is that they keep the coupons there in case a customer is contemplating buying a product, and may purchase it if a coupon was used to lower their cost.

There has only been a couple of times where they have pulled out a coupon I didn't need, I think once I accepted it and once I didn't. Never had them force me to!

My Walgreens has a young girl at cosmetics who saves her coupons from home and brings them in for customers. It makes me more comfortable to go to her since she "understands" coupons. She is very patient with multiples. I'm glad that she may be getting a commission off of my sales!

Ok here is a question. Can you not use a coupon off the internet at Walgreens. I went this morning to use a Destin Baby Lotion coupon for a dollar off and the cashier called the manger and he said I could not use it. The coupon was printed off our local papers website. I have never had any trouble using internet coupons at Kroger.... so does Walgreen never accept internet coupons???

I've never had that happen, but I have had cashiers pull off the peelies and runthem through even when I told them that I already had a higher value coupon in my hand. I know they are just trying to be helpful and I have to remember to pull the peelie off before I check out!

Some stores make up their own policies. I've seen one of the stores here in Greensboro with signs banning printables and another store within 10 minutes that takes them all the time. I figure it must be set by the individual store mgr so I go to the store that takes them.
