I forget: When does/did the Pantene Catalina deal end? And how do we know these things???

I read it ends 7/28 but don't hold me too it. I have not checked it out yet so that why I saying don't hold me to it.

The catalina advertisement I got in June stated the Pantene promo would only last through 7/8/07. I purchased 3 more clearance Pantene shampoos there this morning and no catalina printed out.

Isn't the deal buy 4 pantenes get $6 in RRs?

I just came from Walgreen and the sign are all over the place that this deal ends
7/28/07 so we still have plenty of time. The only reason I didn't get any they were out of the trial size wonder why. This store didn't have many in the begin just 12 so I did the deal once a night waiting for someone else to get them but they didn't so I got them. Now, that I know I have time I will go to another Walgreen that has plenty of them and keep doing this deal. Just wanted to give others a heads up.

I'm not positive but there might have been 2 different cat promotion #s on Pantene.

One yielded lesser savings per item on 2, a bit more on 3, & the higher yield of $6 OYNO on 4 ($6 / 4 = $1.50 each). That may be finished?

The other one is only based on buy 4 = $6 OYNO. That promo is still working, but might be YMMV as to if it's still working in all WAG regions.

Well the cats are no longer printing for the travel size... at least not in Milwaukee.
I tried this yesterday and didn't get one. This was at a store that I as was successful several times with this deal last week.

So I guess I am going back today to return them.

I was able to do the Pantene deal today in south Louisiana with 3 trial sizes and one bonus size on clearance. I also used 2 B1G1 coupons (I've cleared out the clearance sizes at all 3 nearby Wag's so I'm willing to use them on trial sizes now). They ended up paying me $2.50 (once you factor in the $6 cat) to buy shampoo!

Are the clearance ones on the endcaps in your stores? I haven't seen any here

Has anyone else tried this today? I know it had stopped working on Monday?

Well, they've been everywhere! One store had a full shopping cart of them (now all gone), and one store was rearranging stuff so they put all of the clearance shampoo (normally shampoo is in the back) up front by cosmetics. Generally, I've found most of it on the 2 or 3 endcaps in the back where all clearance goes. I have found some real treasures in there, but it's hit or miss. You may have a hard time finding Panetene because the deal has been going all month and people are wiping them out. Good luck though!

Here in Missouri the $6.00 CAT is still printing on the travel size Pantene. I bought 4 today and she spiterout!!! LOL woohoo! However, I left my wallet at home so I missed out on using the LAST one I got!

Now, it says on the cat only 1 coupon per customer or something like that. Has anyone ever used more than one of same kind of cat together???

Here in MN, the trials quit working where I shopped.

A report from a credible person on another site indicates that CM said the Pantene cat is good through 07/28/07 at all WAGs nationally & that if you call CM after 24 hours with your receipt info in hand they can look it up & see if the cat didn't print & then mail you the OYNO.

It's important to be sure the printer feed button was pushed after it didn't feed to be sure it was on, had paper, & wasn't jammed.

The signs in my store says it excludes trial sizes, I would assume they would not honor the OYNO if trial sizes were bought??

I haven't tried it this week, I did it 3 times last week and it worked great!

When you call CM I don't know if when they look up your receipt if they match to a text description or the offer, or if they match to ALL products/sizes that are programmed into the offer (though I'd guess the latter?).

I'm just going to return the trials. I'm not calling to say I didn't get the catalina since I know that it wasn't suppose to work on them in the first place.

I called catalina mktg and got first hand info. The Pantene catalina is suppose to work at all Walgreens nationwide.

Read the offer carefully, trial sizes are excluded so those who don't get the cat for purchasing trial sizes need not call since they can view the record of the transaction per store; they ask for the store address and your receipt reference number. If you look at your Walgreens CRTs, it may not show the actual UPC but it shows the size of the item bought so its easy for them to see if its regular size or trial size. The regular sizes on clearance should work if they are part of the promo according to the mktg rep. HTH.
