I just got back from Walgreens without my 2 - $10 catalinas. I bought 6 of the Ribbons and 4 of the Lotion from Olay. I was able to use 2 of the $10 coupons (I didn't read it was limited to one), and 7 of the $1 off coupons. Only one of the $10 catalina printed.

But the funny thing is is that the assitant manager and another lady stood there watching the cosmetics person ring up my order and my coupons. Felt like I was a criminal or something that I had an audience. When she hit the total and I paid, only one of the catalinas printed. Well the ***. man was there, so I told him what should of printed.

He said that the second one didn't print because I used 2 - $10 in a transaction. Huh? I don't think so. It is because of the body lotion...it is pictured in the paper and it was the correct size.

I told him what needed to be done in order to give me another catalina. He said that he was not paid enough to do that for me.

So I left with only one of my catalina's and was told that the head manager would call me. I will also be letting the head manager how I felt when I had an audience when I was being checked out.

So beware of the body lotion from Olay.

I hope the upper-level manager does the right thing. The other three staff watching you should be suspended for a few days. Possibly they could be sent to a "How to operate the buttons on register when a customer hands you coupons" class.

Were all your Ribbons the exact same variety? All Lotions exact same variety?

You had 10. Needed 9 for 2 $10 cats. Could be some varieties of either weren't programmed in (unless all lotions were the same variety)/

I did have 3 different varieties/smells of body wash...2 of type A and B and 1 of type C.

I really think that it is the lotion. On my MN group, someone else said that also.

I just got off the phone with the manager and he knew who I was. I told him what happened and how I felt with the 2 other people watching over me and the cashier. He said that he would look into it and talk again when I met up with him this week.

I did use two of the $10 coupons which I told him I was wrong for using them after looking at the coupons closer (limit one per customer). Though...why would I get two of them then if I couldn't use them both at the same time.

How can you qualify for 2 x $10 with 9 products & then be limit 1 per customer? They think you'll give away the second $10 to someone else; funny!

I think it really means limit 1 offer per transaction that if you bought 18 items you'd still only get $20 maximum OYNO in that transaction.

People do the strangest things and react in the strangest ways. Perhaps you have been nominated coupon queen and they wanted to see how it is done. Perhaps they were all trying to catch you doing something a little "off." But, perhaps they were just simply bored with the day and you offered them a little excitement seeing someone make the "SYSTEM" work for her.

Anyway, a note to the "contact us" on the Walgreen website might elicit better relationships and manners.

The manager does know me and the type of shopper I am. If it doesn't get solved, then I will be calling Walgreens.

Did your $10 cpns scan ok? I have been having problems with the $10 cpns not scanning!!!! On the $10 cpns one says "Bonus" and the other one doesn't!!! I take it that differentiates them---so you are only using one of each cpn. No problem there!!!

You have to give the $10 coupons first and they will scan just fine. I am almost positive that I gave them one of each.

I had a very simular thing happen to me today. The walgreens I went to is like 4 minutes away from my house BUT I have had problems there before "with the manager long story but anyway I called CS about that" Now back to today

When I went in I thoight I had my order worked out so I didnt take my coupon book in with me and when I reached the Sercert Isle I discovered that it was on clearence so I asked a cashier if I could leave my cart with a few items in right there while I ran to my real quick she said no problem well when I came back in the store the 'MANAGER and ASST. MANAGER where standing close by where I had left my cart and chating well I got my cart put my coupon book in the seat and started to walk "I WAS THEN BEING FOLLOWED THROUGH THE STORE BY THESE TWO" I thought to myself OK just let them follow me I am not doing anything wrong and they will see this so I got what I wanted and with to check out.

I have turned all my catalinas into Giftcards this week the other Walgreens let me use them to buy 10.00 Girtcards
When I handed the cashier one of the Giftcards it came up that nothing was on it I said that can not be I just got them a couple of hours ago and I have the receipts for them. So I handed her another one and it went through no problems she called the ASST. MANAGER up and told her about the girtcard saying it didnt have a balance I explained what was going on gave her my receipts she took a quick look at them and said that card was no purchased I said YES it was I just bought them so I handed her another one she said that card was not purchased either by this time I am getting very angrey she said there was nothing she could do I just had empty giftcards I thought she was going to try and keep them.
I had another transaction 2 fans 14.99x2 gave the cashier both 10.00 catalinas from pervious order and a giftcard total oop 0.00
When I got home I was looking over my receipts and what I hadnt noticed was the 2nd Giftcard that I gave her in the first transaction took off the whole amount of 17.xx so when I bought the giftcards the cashier had put 20.00 on 2 card instead of 10.00 but she gave me 4 cards it was a total mess but I really did not like how I was treated being followed through the store like I was stealing something from them they really need to take some lessons from CVS on Customer Service.

Fellow Couponers!! I can completely relate! OMG, you would swear I was totally stealing...I even came across a service manager that said, I was limited to 2 products per customer per day! Can you believe that? Whatever....I was like, are you kidding? Please come up with a better one than that! You ought to write to corporate and tell them to not have associate deals and ENCOURAGE in your ads to BUY 9 or MORE and then be surprised when you run out of inventory? I told him, it sounds like to me your buyer isn't buying enough products for your store and that's not my concern! Maybe you should ask that your store not be included in Walgreen Marketing Deals....I seriously am fed up with these cashiers taking these sales personally. It's as if it's their own products, I'm taking or something. My girlfriend said to me, why is everybody watching? I said, 'oh, their bored!' they must not have anything else to do! How annoying...sorry, I'm burned up ALL over again...anyways, I'm over it, really I am

I'm begining to wonder, my WAG, a 24 hour one, if possible enforce a limit of 4, even when there is no limit on the Ad. Claims it is because it is a 24 hour WAG. Is it a corporate policy?

They are just building a WG in our town right now.. Looks like I am in for some fun in the near future. They are gonna hate me. LOL!

I actually had a raincheck for the razors and they honored the sale price and then they took off the $20 for the catalina that would of printed if it was in stock!
