So, I was curious as to what everyone plans on doing with the extra mascaras and Lubriderm lotion that they are getting?
I was thinking that it will take me forever to use all of the lotion and mascara not to mention the deals from last month! Dove, Vaseline..etc.. So, I figured out that I am going to donate the extras to the Samaritan House in my area. They help domestic abuse victims.
I thought I was crazy buying all of this stuff, but now I realize that there WAS a good reason for it

I would love to hear what everyone else plans to do. With Christmas right around the corner I am sure there will be plenty of mascara stocking stuffers

my work is doing some donating for x-mas to local shelters, so if i get enough i'll gift wrap them individually =D

Ooh, I like this idea but no nothing about it (we're Canadians that moved here recently!) have to look into it as I have a bit of make up

I'm using mine for christmas gift for my DD - she's just old enough now to start wearing makeup, I know she'll love it...

After I supply my friends and family, I am collecting for a convent in the area- they have a location in the roughest part of Mpls and they have a lot of friends in the neighborhood, mostly women and children, who could use all of this stuff. They also do a little "store" during the holidays so the neighborhood kids can "shop" (for free) for their parents.
I was a little annoyed that it seems the Almay foundation doesn't get into very dark skin tones - don't they realize people come in all colors?

My dd just graduated from college and has many friends that I will give to. Then I will donate the majority to the House of Hope, shelter for battered women and children.

I'll share with my family on Guatemala, my mother's is coming and I'm gonna send the make up and mascaras to Guatemala, in this country the prices are really expensive, and I'm pretty sure they're gonna love it.

Check around for programs that assist unemployed females find jobs. A lot of times they will help them out with outfits and HBA items to prepare them for interviews/jobs.

Yeah, its odd! I am really fair/peachy skin tonnes and realized that all the shares could potentially work for me they were all so light!!

i'm keeping 6 mascaras, 4 foundations and 6 lipglosses for stocking stuffers...whatever else i get after that will go in my donation box for the local shelter.

Most of my coupon finds goes to our local shelter. I don't collect/donate junk food even though there are some good deals. Shampoos, toothpaste, yes DENTAL floss LOL are the main things, anything people can't use food stamps to purchase.

I am going to make up gift baskets for Christmas presents that will be given out at the Banquet. They serve one meal every week to those who can't afford it or are just lonely. Our church started going once a year and then one year collected Christmas presents for them and they kept doing it every year. I will make up a few baskets with makeup, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, razors, shaving gel and possibly some other items. I haven't decided yet how I'll put them together.

Being I'm a student Mom of three, I'm selling of them and using the money for christmas. I donate things like shampoo, soap, diapers..Essentials, i guess to a sober house here and "brighter Tomorrows' a shelter for battered women. I'd hate to donate some and not enough for all of the women there. I also teach the women how to coupon, since so many are on the system but they dont seem interested. Kills me to watch someone pay full price and use food stamps!The sober houses used to be greatful for what I gave them, now they give me "wish lists" lOL.. It makes me feel better.

I sell mine at my yard sales. Not many like to buy makeup so I sell it for super cheap! That is the only way it sells!

I have a soldier thru anysoldier, too! I had sent him 3-4 pkgs and always got nice, long thank-you letters. I never heard anything after the last pkg and I've emailed him 3-4 times and no response I'm worried about him.
