Thank you for that post. I am a cashier and in charge of a full staff of cashiers most days. We work hard at trying to minimize the negative experience that some may have on occasion.

Thank you for the post!!! What a great sentiment and I would like to say I luv WAGS and the opportunity the store gives us for all the great deals. After all that's why we are all here. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in "I" we forget about others. I too am guilty about remembering the bad experience and not the GREAT experience. I would love to say Thank You WAGS for the great deal I did today on the Kleenex and Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice and the excellent customer service I received. Thanks Kellie! We appreciate the reminder, and those of us cashier, we really do not appreciate being called all sorts of names.

Hi all, I am happy to say that I work at Walmart. I am human and have forgotten to scan coupons for people (even though I am a major couponer) and lucky for me I have never been made to feel bad...However my girlfriend who is also a backup cashier (works in the clothes most of the time and only gets to the registers when we are out of "real" cashier) had a customer yell at her and made her cry over 50 cents! Poor thing doesn't want anything to do with handling coupons...I am trying to win her over by giving her coupons so that she can see the savings and maybe start to at least like them Thanks for reminding everyone that we are all people just trying our best to do our best. Lillie

Thanks for the great post! You remind us all that cashiers are people too! LOL! I have actually never had a "terrible" experience and have learned that some cashiers are more helpful than others. The ones that are not as helpful are not rude or ignorant, they just may not understand the coupon world! You have reminded me to be kind no matter what!

I think this should be especially remembered during this busy holiday season when we all should be nice but we all are a little stressed (naughty)

I went to Wags last night , got my 2 Webkins, Aussie and Ricola. Came back to the car and realized I forgot to have them scan the .50 Ricola. I could have kicked myself, but was not worth it the .50, besides, I am not into pain |

Thanks for the reminder. I work in retail, I do alot of cashiering to get some extra hours at work. It does get to me when I log on and there are so many negative comments about the store I work at. It almost makes me feel like if those who've had "horrible" experiences knew where I work then they might hate me by association.(I know that sounds kind of ridiculous but I'm such a people pleaser!)
