For the first time in my life, I found myself looking twice at coupons I have in my binder for fiber products! My husband was recently hospitalized due to coronary blockage (stint procedure, etc) and was told to lower his cholesterol! Cardiologist suggested a great way was to consume more fiber, and named Benefiber, specifically.

The October Easy Saver has a coupon for $5 off the 16-count Benefiber Stick Packs, in Kiwi-Strawberry. (These are the kind you pour into a bottle of water, shake, and drink- nothing yucky to chew!) There were coupons in the inserts on 9-21-08, I believe, for $2.00 off any Benefiber, as well as $2.00 off the Kiwi-Strawberry Stick Packs.

When I searched for these at my Walgreen's, I found them on the very top shelf with a price sticker that indicated it was a new item. They had several packages which were marked at $7.99 ea. Using both the ESC and my manufacturer's coupon, I ended up paying .99 per package!

Afraid my husband wouldn't drink them, I only bought a few boxes. Surprisingly, he said they are really very tasty....so I'm off to search for some more! If only everything we need to buy could work out so nicely! Anyone ever hear of .99 Plavix?! (Just dreamin'...)

I, too, had a recommendation from my doctor to use this product and it is typically a bit spendy, so when I found this deal I was super excited! I've gotten 2 boxes thus far, but haven't tried it yet. I'm glad to ear that they're tasty!

It wasn't in our 9/21 so wondering if they were in another date. Also, I found them right at the register where they have a few items on a shelf just in case others are looking for them.

rgyman: I'm thinking this must have been a regional coupon in the 9/21 insert....because I'm almost positive I filed these coupons in my binder on 9/22- a couple of days right before the cardiologist mentioned buying some for my husband! I remembered thinking, "should I pitch these, or keep 'em?" I've learned to just keep EVERYTHING! Good luck with your ebay bid!

right now my walgreen's is making them free w/ IVC got only one as I'm not sure If I'll like it. Trying it tomorrow . if I like it I'll be making a special trip to buy a lot more free is great , its to bad none of my Walgreen's allows overage

I went looking at different coupons sites and found them a penny each. WOW! Should have looked there first but that ok I will get some there too. I will be stocked up.

So are you allowed to use teh Easy saver coupon with a manufacturer's coupon? I thought we couldn't do that anymore.
