I just got done e-mailing Walgreens because I'm sick of their own weekly ad coupons not scanning properly. This is the third time that I've got home and found that I paid more than I should have because their own coupons didn't scan. Has anyone else had problems with this? Shouldn't the computer notify the employee that the coupon didn't scan? I would love to be able to watch each item and price and coupon that is scanned but it's difficult while trying to entertain a restless toddlers at the same time! And I don't think it's very practical to hire a babysitter just so I can go to Walgreens. I e-mailed them because I don't feel like I can go back to the store to complain after the fact since I have no proof that I had the coupon in the first place. I'm thinking about having coupons for each item scanned as the item is scanned rather than handing them my lovely little stack of coupons at the end. How does everyone else hand over their coupons?

I can't remember having any problems with the Wags coupons, but I have had several problems with cashiers. There is one in particular who is nice enough but very easy to confuse. She goofs up the Qs every time. She misses some and double scans others. When I see her I try my best to find another cashier, any other cashier. It can be very difficult to try to sort out some of my receipts to see what happened after the fact.

It's happened to me on two different occasions. I never made it to the store to correct it within the week of the ad sale. I didn't want to take the time to fix it, so I ended up just returning the items. I wonder how many people don't realize they probably got overcharged.
