| Please Help! Okay, I'm new to couponing and this forum and have a question. I went to Walgreens tonight to get in on the 'Oust Surface & Air' deal. I picked up two bottles of it (that's all they had remaining on the shelf), along with a few other items, and went to check-out. The coupons I gave were: $1 ESC (If that's what you call the thick little book that comes out each month with the rebates also listed in it) $1/1 manu BOGO manu It beeped, and they told me I couldn't do this. So, she and I decided the best deal would be to use the $1 ESC & the BOGO. This made it just over 49c per can. I know that's a good deal, but can I do better? I've got three more BOGO and five more $1/1 manu. They said they would be restocking the shelves, so I could check back for more. What say ye of great couponing wisdom? | You should be able to use them all. The first 1.00 man Q is for the one you buy. Then the BOGO is for the other. 2.00 should come off for the ES $1 Q. Not sure why it beeped unless you had more Q's than items. |

| Maybe try BOGO Free first, then $1/1, and then your ES Q. That way you get the retail price on your BOGO then you get your $1 off the second one and then the ES coupons to take off $1 a piece. The MFC coupons could be interchangeable but I usually either do all my coupons that require an amount written in on them either first or last just out of convenience. |

| Your problem is probably that your coupons end up totaling more than the product cost (only by a penny, but still over). Your best bet would be to throw in something cheap (not sure what is cheapest this week - votive candles 6/$1?). If they restock, I would just buy as many as possible in the same order so you only have to have one filler item to cover the overage. And definitely give the ES coupon last! |
