HI....I read through the Walgreens ad in the paper today and I'm thinking of making a trip there this week for the first time. There are some really great coupons in the ad, it seems. Do you have any tips or secrets for shopping there? I am trying to match up some of my coupons with the ones they have in the ad.

On the coupons in the ad they say "limit 3" or whatever...do you need 3 coupons if you get 3 or does that one coupon work for those 3 items? I just want to be sure to have a good plan of attack..

I'd really appreciate any help you could give. TIA!

You don't have to buy the number stated on the Wags Q. You can buy one or 6. Even though it says 3 it will work on more.

The ES (easy saver) has Q's and rebates. Your biggest bang for your buck it to buy the rebate items when they are on sale, you have a Q and hopefully a 5/20 Wags Q is out.

how did the glade warmers ring up at your store? over here, it was 4.79 and 0.00 register took 1 BOGO per set of 2 so both came out free. did the register at your store take all 8 BOGO Qs w/o beeps?

This might sound a little stupid, but is the easy saver something you find in the store or is that the ad that came in my paper? I just want to make sure that I'm not missing something.

For example....in the ad there is a coupon for $.99 Xtra Care Gum. I have a $.75 coupon for that gum, I can use those together, correct? And if I would take 3 of my man. coupons and that one coupon from the ad, I could get 3 of them, right? I just want to make sure. I feel like I should be taking notes on this site sometimes, I'm learning so much and I don't want to mess up once I get to the store! HA!

With the ES book I get back 5.oo on the Creat making them .25 each. the Trident ended up .49 for 2, paid me to take the foil and had a problem w book cover. When I got to the car I noticed they did not ring up B1G1F.
Assistant manager refunded my 2.99 plus tax and I thanked him, then he said that these were Hannah Montana(Disney) and were not included in the sale. I told him I would pay for them(My 8 yo dd had picked them out and I could not make her get the solid colored ones). He said No, that they were probably all mixed together (as they were). WOW, I was pleasantly surprised as I really would have not have returned if I knew they were not included in the sale.

I am new to shopping at Walgreens also and love all the advice you guys dish out. My question is if an item is listed to get a RR should you get one for each item or 1 per transaction? Ex- Huggies are $9.49-$2 RR=$7.49. If I buy 2 packages at once I should get 2 RR right? Today I sent my friend and she only got 1 RR.

Unfortunately RR limited to 1 for each deal per transaction. Also register rewards awarded can not be used to purchase the same item again and get the register reward again. If you want to do a deal two times, you must make 2 seperate transactions and not use the RR rewards from the first transaction on the second. If you did use them on the second transaction you would not receive the RR on the second transaction.

The Easy Saver booklet is near the checkouts.

You can use the coupon in the ad (referred to here as 7-Day Coupon), an ES coupon, and a Manufacturer coupon for your products. So, you acn get all three gums.

It doesn't take long and you will be great at this. We are all still learning in my book, something new every day!
