Rimmel cosmetics are bogo this week and I have bogo Qs for the colour rush eye shadow from the All You mag. But the Q states "only available at Walmart." Is this true or does the Q maybe say that because it's a mag exclusive to WM? Has anyone seen this eyeshadow at WAGS?

Please share!!!! I would love to stock up for Christmas stockings!

I think it means it is only available at walmart... normally if you can only use it at a caetain store it will say redeemable or vaild only at....

I have the same coupons, haven't tried it yet, but they say "Manufacturer Coupon" so they should be able to be used at WAGS.

It should work because it is a man q , for some reason I think the coupon is trying to say that the eyeshadow is only at walmart.. which it isn't, but thats what I thought it meant the first time I read it.

FYI, at least at every store I've been to, when rimmel is bogo it never rings up correctly, it never takes the free one off. so it has to be done manually, which may make the bogo coupon kind of tricky.

I did this today with the AY coupons and got 16 eyeshadows for tax only.

Did any of you note that the value on the coupon only goes up to 3.97? This shadow is $5.99 at my walgreens.

I didn't notice that. Apparently my cashier didn't either. She took $4.79 off. That is the price at my Walgreens.

I didn't notice either and I just bought 12 eyeshadows. Shoot! The coupon print was so small though that I could barely see the part where they write in the price! Anyway, 12 eyeshadows to go in my next yard sale! Woo hoo

Ya know, I just noticed that too as I was responding to similar questions in a KMart thread (same sale.)

I think we should all call Rimmel on Monday - there is and never will be a store that has this stuff for $3.97 - it's VERY misleading to both us as well as the store...THIS is the kind of thing that makes using B1G1 Q's on B1G1 sales so hard...

Or...they're saying that it's ONLY $3.97 at WalMart - THAT could very well be the case...either way, it's still misleading.

I think you're probably right...the only way you can get the BOGO at the $3.97 limit is to buy it at wal mart. I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that's their price for it. Very misleading!

Here's the letter I've sent to Coty and All You:

In the August 29, 2008 issue of All You Magazine (Issue # 8), on page 25, there is a coupon for Buy Any Rimmel Colour Rush Eye Shadow Get Any Rimmel Colour Rush Eye Shadow Free. Barcode is 512874000142 0012874-030062 The coupon states that it is a Manufacturer Coupon. It also says in DARK BLUE on a BLACK background (barely legible) "Only at WalMart" and in the fine print it states that the coupon's maximum value is $3.97

This coupon is EXTREMELY misleading for several reasons.

#1) This is a manufacturer coupon therefore it can and will be accepted at any retailer that accepts manufacturer's coupons.
#2) Essentially the only store that would possibly carry this line of eye shadow for $3.97 would be WalMart as CVS and other stores are priced at upwards of $5.99
#3) Many people are going to use this coupon and many cashiers are not going to notice the actually small value of the coupon. This coupon is going to cost retailers a lot of money and potentially cause embarrassing issues with your potential customers that try to use them.

Either it should have been a WalMart Store ONLY coupon (not a manufacturer coupon) or it should have been for a more reasonable value. However, I gather that the intent of the coupon was to draw consumers to WalMart, NOT other retailers, where the coupon would have been perfectly acceptable. Perfect definition of misleading.

I am a member of a couple very highly respected and highly used website forums specifically dealing with shopping and using coupons. I have already warned several people about this MISLEADING coupon and urge them not only to NOT use it, but to write in their concerns to WalMart, All You Magazine, and Coty US, LLC.

It is precisely this type of misleading advertising that has made coupons such a "taboo" among retailers and consumers.

Just did this deal @ WALGREENS with no problem....bought 6 eyeshadows and the manager rung me up he took off 5.99 and 2 @ 4.79!!

Are there any rimmel printables out there??

i did the walgreens deal for 4 eyeshadows..i wrote in 3.97 since that was the max..i know that the cashier wouldnt have noticed, but i did..not free, but still a great deal.

I went to Walmart today and noticed it is $3.97 for the eyeshadow that is why they only put Walmart for the price. Walgreens must had a glitch in the system as my rimmel didnt ring up bogo. I didnt notice right away so had to go back 2 hrs later to get it fixed,(waste of my gas). They also would only take off $3.97 . I saw some for $4.79 and some retails for $5.99. I think I will see how much they are at Kmart for this week and CVS next month.
The manager had the nerve to ask me if I wanted all my refund on a gift card as I used $5.79 out of my pocket (cash). I said no ,give me the cash I sholdnt have given you since your system didnt ring up the advertised special .

It's very deceiving for the Q to say "only available at Walmart" when that's just not true.

I did get some Rimmel at WAGS but they wouldn't let me get the 2 for free with the bogo Q, which I wasn't surprised because they took that stand with the L'Oreal bogo Qs.

At first they said the bogo sale made my Q useless and I couldn't use it but she agreed to let me pay for 1 and then get 2 free (1 from sale, 1 from Q). Which is okay with me because that actually makes more sense to me in my confused little brain. I think $4.XX for 3 eyeshadows is still a good deal so I'm happy!

Edited to add: I forgot I used the $1/1 that I actually purchased so really it was only $3.XX for 3.

I plan to go to Wags this weekend and due my shopping and plan to purchase several of the Rimmel Eyeshadow that is BOGO Free, then I have several coupons that I plan to use with the BOGO free Rimmel eyeshadow that I got out of the Aug "All You" Magazine. Can someone explain to me how this is going to work at the register. I want to be prepared if the cashier questions me. Thanks....
