I sent dh to get me some stamps today, along with a RR from the cereal deal - to reduce the OOP. Now I am worried that for some reason it wont work. I read the RR front and bACK and didn't see any restriction on this. I thought there was a thread here while back saying you could, but I couldn't find it. I just don't want dh to be denied and be embarrassed- I have been in there so much lately he hates the place. TIA!

I do it all the time. Unless they changed the wording on the coupon it does not prohibit it.

I have another question though -- wasn't there some talk awhile ago about RR's and how you can only use as many RR's as you have items for?

I buy 4 packages of Dove chocolate and use 4 regular coupons. I can't use a $5.00 RR on top of that unless i throw in a fifth item.

that is true. However, be aware that some stores will only let you use 1 per transaction period. I know I have had this happen with a couple of cashiers and remember reading someone else having the same experience as well.

BTW, I've used RR @ CVS & Harris Teeter!

So this is a combination of YMMV and needing more items in the order. IF the cashier said I could only use one $5.00 RR per purchase, I would probably split up my order right there and make her do separate transactions, which seems like a pain for them.

That is exactly what I do. I ask the cashier when I start my order if I can use more than 1 RR at a time, that way I can split my order up the best possible way.
