I got the cereal and snack rr on Sunday~you can definitely do the rebate. Of course, I didn't read the posts about the rebate starting on Tuesday, so now I have to go back and do it again!

Due to overwhelming response regarding the current promotion for the Fuel For School and the start date of Aug. 5th, it has been pushed BACK to starting August 2nd. It will still run to 9/30/08 as noted.

They were not aware of the amount of people that get Sat Early editions as well as the Sunday paper and went out and do the deal that same day. So if you already did the deal submit it and you should be ok.

I'm still really new to this, so can someone please tell me if I am thinking this through correctly? Is this a mm?

Has anyone tried to use their RR from the Olay deal to purchase the Kellog's? I heard on another site that someone used those and the Kellogs RR did not print. This is the only reason I was going to do this deal, to roll over my RR into something else. Why wouldnt it print? I am so confused over this deal. 1 transaction cereal/snacks, 2 transactions? It seems like everyone is getting different responses to this deal. Why do all WG not work the same??!!

I bought 4 boxes of cereal yesterday, used (4) $1/kelloggs special k product from vocalpoint and my $7 RR from the Olay deal last week (i had a few fillers also) and my $5 spit out just fine.

I bought 4 boxes of cereal and 6 snacks. The snack one spit out just fine, the cereal one didn't. To make a long story short, after trying several things, the manager realized that one of the cereals must not have been in the computer and he gave me my $5 anyway. I think the reason some aren't getting both is because of the machines. The cereal and snacks are separate and you should get 2. If not, say something.

I think all "snacks" are on one RR. You probably will have to do 2 transactions to get $10.

Dianaj64 - I believe I read in another post that Kellogg's pushed the start date back to the 2nd or maybe 3rd. Either way, you should be able to do the rebate just fine with Sunday's stuff.

I was not sure if I could do them together so I did 3 different transactions yesterday. The 1st one was 4 boxes of cereal. I used 2 coupons and a $5 RR from dipes and my RR did not print out. The cashier waited for a second to see if it would print and then called the manager who gave me a GC for $15 (for all 3)! One RR did print out and the cashier set it aside to get rid of. Worked great though because now I can roll it for a few more deals!

Is there a limit on how many times you can get the $5.00 RR for the Kelloggs deal?

Have anyone done the Kellog deals with coupons?

I purchased
- 2 pecan shortbread
- 2 special K bars
- 2 pop tarts
- 3 rice crispies

Used 4 coupons $1/2 and total was $16.

No register rewards printed. I asked the cashier and then the store manager and was told that I can't use coupons since it brought the total below $20?

Hmm, that doesn't make sense. I just used coupons on 4 nutrigrains for a total of $8 and got my $5 RR then I did it again for another 6 items with coupons and it was under $10 and I got another $5 RR. Maybe it's a RR glitch- I think there's another thread about that on these forums and I think it was resolved with a phone call. Don't give up yet!

The only problem I'm having is the cashier completely refused to ring my items up together because she said she knew it wouldn't print both $5 RR. So I did two transactions back to back and am going to mail them in together to try to get the $10 rebate. I'm going to a different wags later tonight to try again... We'll see.

I hate that some of you are having problems. I did the Kellogg's RR cereal deal with coupons. I also did the Kellogg's/Keebler snacks 4/$10 RR deal with coupons. Plus I had to buy two more Kellogg's cereal with coupons so that I would have the 10 items to do the $10 deal for Kellogg's. All in the same transaction. They didn't give me any problems at all. Both of my RR printed. My only problem was finding a Walgreens that had the items.

Can you list the products you bought and the coupons you used?? I'd like to do this deal and if I duplicate what you did, then maybe I won't have problems.

Coupons:
-$1/2 Kellogg's (kids') cereals

OOP: $19.27 (tax on the rice krispie treats)
-2 RR $5/ea=-$10 (yes they both printed in one transaction!)
-$10 mail in rebate
=$.73 profit to cover the stamp and envelope!

It's possible to work a deal with more profit--especially if you have multiples of any of the coupons and/or dip into the 5/$10 snacks more! I thought this was pretty good though considering I only had one insert to work with and only bought stuff that I LIKE

I did 2 of the snack deals. But they should've been seperate. But I only got 5 RR...I figured I just messed up somehow! I don't know. I'll send in for my MIR and my total would be 4 dollars. So that's still pretty good I think!

I also bought 2 Froot Loops
Used the Kellogg's coupon that had Froot Loops box on it.
It was also $1 off 2.

I hope that this helps you. I got all of these coupons in that Kellogg's coupon book.

NutriGrain bars -
Check the back of the strawberry nutrigrain bars box - .75 coupon.
It expires 12/31/2008.
It is only for boxes with 6 bars.

I called the customer relations and tried to clarify the Kellogg deals. At first, I was told that the person who knows more about the deals was not there and she will call me back when she returns. 1 hour went by, I called back. Another lady picked up the phone and told me that the RR didn't print due to OOP less than $20. I was not satisfy with the answer so I called back about an hour later hoping to get different customer rep and of course, I got the same lady on the phone who told me about my OOP < $20. This time she told me she will call the store I went to and tried to get things resolved. 30 minutes later the store assistant manager called me back and told me that it was all a misunderstanding. The catalina was not working and it has not been working all day. I was told to go back tomorrow and I will get a refund (cash?).
