I had the cashier doing a double take on it as I was when I first saw it. DUH! I wonder who got reprimanded for that mistake on all the coupons.

There were signs posted at my Walgreens store today apologizing for the error.

but we can still use the coupons until end of august right? i mean they will know it was a mistake? I was worried about that, I was thinking of not clipping the coupons just so when they comment that the coupons are expired I will gladly show the cover of the booklet which will of course say AUGUST 2008

I saw that right away and pointed it out to the manager. He was stunned! I tried to do a razor deal (Shick Intuition) and with double dipping - it didn't work. But, I don't know if the qs will work tomorrow or not! Here's hoping - that is an oops on their part!

I noticed it yesterday. Funny. But they worked fine together. It was my first time ever double-dipping, and my cashier was happy for me and my savings.

The online version has exp. date as 8/30/08. just print the ones you need and bring to store to avoid argument with cashier (yup some cashier knows nothing about their own store coupons and ESC booklets).

If we use the store August ES instead of printing at home, will the cashiers have to force the coupons through since they'll be "expired"? And will this mess up multiple coupon deals like the diaper ES that automatically rang up as $2.50 off each pack you bought?--as in, would you just receive face value of the coupon ($5/2) instead of $2.50 off each item if the cashier has to manually input the coupon?

yeap, thats just wrong. And no Wags sales flyer in the early addition yesterday. But todays home delivery has one!! GGGGGRRRRRR

I think I may just lay off Wags for a month. Hopefully others will get tired of them as well. July was not a good Wags month for me.

Ok did anyone else notice the expiration dates on all of the Aug Q are 7-26. SO none of the Q are good in Aug??? whats up with that, is that normal? Why even call it the Aug book? Btw I did great on the diaper deal- so I was looking for another double dipping item when I noticed the date. ugh

Hi All,
I went into wags over the weekend and to my delight they had the Aug 2008 ES Books out. Only one problem the cover says Aug 2008 but dates on all the q's are for July. Meaning they are all miss printed. I was told that they all will still work just don't cut them out of the book.

I went yesterday & noticed the same thing. I pointed it out to one of the girls in cosmetics and she showed the Mgr.
I cut them out of the book and they scanned just fine.

yes it is just a misprint...they haven't said anything if they'll re-issue books or not....probably not.
that is good advise not to cut them out of the book....cashiers don't keep them anyways
