^^ she is right. do not be an accessory to an illegal activity. it may be a cause for termination if someone reports her. she can never be sure if someone is observing her and turns her in, kwim? I know other stores policy is to throw/shred those RRs if customer refuses to take them BUT in no way is the cashier/store personnel suppose to keep them for personal use or give to family and friends.
IMO, if store personnel are allowed to keep them, that is like encouraging them to steal since these RRs can be used to purchase items at the store. at our WAG branch, employees are allowed to purchase items and they also earn their RRs in the process but to allow them to keep RRs left by other customers is a no, no and will definitely cause their termination.
