This week is : buy 20.00 or more on vicks or puffs products. Receive 5. RR . So, I was thinking of doing this. Buy.
Transaction 1: buy lypsyl cold sore= 5
get RR 5 dollars
Transaction 2: buy lypsyl cold sore =5
get RR 5.
Transaction 3: buy 4 natures fusion 8oz liq @ 5.99 each. = 23.96.
Use 4 / 3.00 off any Vicks nature. = 12.oo
= 11.96. use RR from trans 1 & 2. Will need a filler. But should be under 2.00 for Vicks transaction. and get 5 RR to roll into the cold sore treatment again.
What do you guys think?

This looks good to me. I saw that the sm. bottles of Purrel are two for $1. I was thinking about using them for a filler.

How do find if my walgreens has this deal on Vicks and puffs? I can't see anything about it in my ad or on their website.

You could try the Walgreems forum here on AFC or read other blogs. That is what I do. Google "Wild for Wags" and read that blog. I think Walgreen's deals are nationwide. Sometimes, all the deals are not in the ad. It can be confusing, especially with month-long deals that don't appear in the ad. Also, you can try a deal. If for some reason you do not get the RRs, return the items purchased.

My store had jello on clearance for 44 cents. I used 2.

I have $4/1 sinex don't even know from where.. So 4x$5.99= $23.96 - $16.00= $7.96 oop get back $5 rr so $2.96 for 4!! Thanks op!!

I just bought 3 Vicks Nature Fusion with 3 Puffs tissues for 20.94 and did not get my register reward. The manager said it was because I used coupons and would not give it to me. Called customer service and they it was because I used coupons but they will call me back within 2 days. ??????

Then I don't know what I did wrong. I though it was because I mixed puffs with vicks, but I guess not. Anyway, the manager of the store called me and had me go back and she credited my credit card the $5. I will never do a "buy over $$ amount and receive RR" deal ever again.

When I first started couponing, I had this same problem with one Walgreens store in our area. The interesting thing was that I tried deals like this at other Walgreen's stores in the area and did not have a problem. They would try to tell me in "that" store that it was because I used coupons and the total had to be XX after coupons--not true.

My suggestion to you would be not to give up if you need the products in the deal, venture to another store and test the deal there. If you don't get the RR, be willing to return the items and ask for a refund. Try to do this immediately if you don't get the RR. Also, ask for your mqs back or they may think you are trying to make money on the refund. If you ask for a refund immediately, they should be able to pull your qs for you.

I also try to stay out of Walgreens stores that are not coupon friendly. We have a number in our area, so I don't have to shop in unfriendly stores.

I had a cashier try to tell me a RR would not print out on the blink gel tears deal a couple weeks ago because of the $1 coupon. He looked pretty dumb when it printed out.

I never heard back from corporate I guess because the store manager contacted me to credit my credit card for the $5. I had a problem a couple months ago when I mixed a toothpaste with a toothbrush on a deal and the RR did not print. When I bought two toothpastes the RR printed that's why I thought it was because I mixed the items. If others have done the deal with no problem I don't know why mine did not print. I even went to my favorite BA to check out because she knows me and she is very coupon friendly. Oh well, I got my $5 credit and I continue to shop with coupons and get my other RR's. Live and learn.
