I hope this is okay to post here: I'm in need of Children's Motrin or Tylenol (not cold or flu formula--just regular) and am wondering if anyone has noticed a good deal coming up and/ or in-store coupons. Thank you so much for your help!

The Walgreen's brand for Motrin ($4.99) is Buy 1 Get 1 Free in this week's Ad. The Ad is for the 4 oz. Unfortunately the Q in the Children's Activity Book is for the 8 oz. so you can't use that. HTH

My husband is a little leery of store-brand medications, but thank you for posting!

My experience with children's meds is that good deals are few and far between. There is so little in the bottles also, that a single illness costs more than if I got a prescription for the stuff. But, for safety's sake, don't get something for a different age group; too many people have given the wrong dosage that way. Also, don't measure any other meds with those caps that come on the OTC syrups. (This is from about two years ago) - I was surprised to learn that the dosing cup teaspoons are more that a teaspoon I used one to measure liquid prescription AMOX and ran out before I could refill it. I learned not to use those caps - IMO they shouldn't be allowed to do that. Wouldn't you think that a teaspoon should be a teaspoon ,especially on medicine.OH, I've gotten off track, when you need meds, unfortunately, you just have to pay for them. [OTC = Over the Counter medication]

Oh my goodness! I never would've thought that those little cups might not be accurate. Thanks for sharing that! I was finally able to pull up Sunday's ad and they have B1G1-50% on Tylenol and Motrin. Yay! I think there are some manu. coupons out there, so I may buy 4 or 6 (depending on the price) and use the $5/25 coupon on top of that.

There is also an IVC in the Children's Activity book if you can find one. Mine was located in the pharmacy. If your cashier will type in the coupon number, it is 2033. This is for Flavored Tylenol - Children's Liquid 4oz and Jr. Meltaways 24ct. Last edited by Avery's mom; 11-07-2009 at 01:14 PM. |

I have the coupon from the coloring book as well as the $3/2. I think I'll buy 6 or 8 of them since it's such a good price. If they let me use the $5/25 coupon, it'll be even less!

Where might I find the coloring book? 2 of my 3 kids have H1N1 (pretty sure that's what it is anyways) and we are going through Tylenol like candy. Thank you! Nevermind. I see Avery'sMom already answered the question. Last edited by HeidiG; 11-07-2009 at 04:20 PM. Reason: Found answer |

Here's hoping you store has some in stock. The children's fever reducer section of our Wags is almost completely wiped out. Serious there is 1 bottle here and 1 bottle there, just rows of emptiness. (We have 3 local schools closed this week due to H1N1). My daughter is teething right now so we are going thru it too. Hope your kids are on the mend soon. |

Thanks for the well-wishes for my kids. Hoping your DD pops those teeth quickly and isn't too crabby for her Mama! |

My stores had low stock. I was hoping the infant drops would be included in the b1g150%, but no luck.
