I have been lurking here for a while and I think I am ready to jump in! I am thinking of starting next week. I will be armed with the Sunday inserts from the past 2 weeks, the ones that come this Sunday, the coupon books from the store, and a printer.

If I understand correctly, in order to get started, my OOP will be higher the first couple of times?

Does anyone have any scenarios they'd like to share? I will keep you all posted! I love this board!

Are there any particular items you are interested in? Diapers, make-up, medicine?

There are only a couple good deals at Walgreens at the moment (in my opinion). I would start this week because you can do the Almay makeup deals, which don't require any coupons. Both are MM if your store has Almay BOGO instead of BOGO 50% off.

If you want to start next week, you can do the lubriderm deal. This works all month. You need the Diabetes and You magazine from Walgreens and some (preferably 3) $2 lubriderm coupons. There is a printable coupon so you can print two and there was one in the 10/11 RP if you have that insert.

Buy 3 6 oz Lubriderm fragrance free lotion - 3.79 each
Use the $1 q in the Diabetes and You magazine (will take off $3)
Use 3 $2 MQ
Total after coupons is 2.37 + tax (might be more if your Lubriderm costs more - mine is 4.29)
Get back an $8 RR.

If you end up going before next week, do the Almay makeup MM next. This is a MM whether your store has Almay BOGO or BOGO 50% off.

Buy
Almay Pure Blends Foundation - 9.99 - the one printing the RR has a clear strip so you can see the color
Almay Pure Blends Mascara, Eye Shadow or Lip Gloss - 6.99 - 7.99
Use the $8 RR you got from the Lubriderm
Your OOP will be anywhere from 1.99 to 5.97 + tax
Get back $10 RR and $5 RR

If you don't go until next week, you can still get the Almay foundation free after RR.

Buy
Almay Pure Blends Foundation - 9.99
Use $8 RR from Lubriderm
OOP should be 1.99 + tax
Get back a $10 RR

If you wanted to, you could use the $10 RR to get more Lubriderm but you'd have to buy extra stuff to make your total $10 before tax. Even without the MQs, the 3 lubriderms would only cost you .37 + tax after RR if you have the coupon from Diabetes and You.

This is awesome! I think I will go get myself some makeup this week, probably on Saturday. I live very close to a Walgreens so I could easily stop on my way to work or even walk (combining exercise with deal hunting)!

I am interested in any deals I can get, since what I can't use and has a low OOP I can always donate.

Your OOP will be 0.14 + tax
Get back $10 RR and $5 RR

So your OOP is 0.51 + tax (which will be a lot...maybe 6 or 7 bucks depending on your rate - double check that, it was a head counted estimate! )

AND you've got 15RR's.

The real explanation is that each coupon is unique. If you copy it, only the first one you have will allow Wags to get reimbursed. It's fraud to copy.

This is a good week to get started. i just started this week and with the lubriderm and almay I am up to 32.00 in RR with about 15.00 out of pocket. Some of the out of pocket was an error by the cashier that I did not catch till I got home. I guess Iwill learn as I go to pay attention.
