I apologize for starting a new thread for this, but I've read through the main one and don't have a clear answer.

Could those who have successfully done the Almay One Coat mascara deal say what bonus packs worked for them? I'm trying to identify the ones that rang up B1G1 free AND the ones that the IVC Q worked for both.

These are all the different mascaras #'s I have bought so far that come up BOGO: #401, #402 (single pk) & #402 (double pk), #441, #442, #443, #501, #503.

I got the Thickening with the eye makeup remover pads...it didn't work...but I talked to the AM and he gave me $8 cash back. I asked him about it, even pointed out that the thickening mascara was in the picture, it didn't even cross my mind that maybe it was b/c I picked up the bonus pack. I didn't even try the regular.

Thanks for the replies! Here is what I have gathered from reading the original thread - I've updated this as of 2:30pm CST on Tuesday.

The following pack #s have worked for people, and by "worked" I mean they rang up as B1G1 free AND the IVC went through.

401
402 (both single and double packs)
441
442 (worked for most, but 1 person reported it didn't work for them)
443
501
503

Other reports:

- the mascaras priced 6.99 at their store worked but the ones priced 7.99 did not
- mascara with the bonus pack of eye makeup remover did not work
- the mascara with the bonus pack of eyeliner worked for someone when it was priced at 6.99 but not for another person when that bonus pack was 7.99

There is definitely some support for the theory that 6.99 bonus packs work but 7.99 ones do not.

Overall, the main problem with the bonus pack appears to be that that the IVC does not work on all of them. Also, some people are also reporting that the mascara is ringing up B1G1 50% off, not B1G1 free.

In my stores, they came out to BIGI 50% off, like advertised. The Wags $4 IVC automatically took $4 off each one; but I passed on the deal, as although it was cheap, I have a ton of free mascara from the Rimmell deal at Wags recently; so unless this was free or a MM, for me it wasn't worth it.

It varies by store as to the BOGO free deal. Either they will all be BOGO Free or they will all be BOGO 50% off.

If you don't know if your store is BOGO Free, do the pure blends deal, where you buy the foundation and the mascara. If the mascara rings up free, then the One Coat mascaras will all be BOBO Free too. At least that's my experience.

412 Bonus pack does not work at the Wags here. I had a BA helping find out which ones would and wouldn't work.

The all look practically the same to me! BORING!!! I like berry shades myself and am a little disappointed in the color choice here but free is free....
