Yes that's what I was thinking they meant but by the way I kept interpreting it I was confusing myself! That's weird though no matter how they enter/scan the item in the computer should have been programmed to determine is xx amount was spent ESPECIALLY if it is the same exact UPC,

Wow I should really read what I type before I hit send!! I meant the computer should be able to determine if xx amount was spent no matter how they get the total... Just doesn't make sense to me who would program it that if the item isn't scanned it won't count..... No sense at all if it doesn't count how come my total still adds up?? Lol

It worked twice for me today. I bought a combination of low dose chewables and low dose regular. They were 2.99 ea. I bought 7 and used 7 MQs. I had one filler item. OOP was $0.06, got $10 RR.

I bought 7 boxes of the low dose x $3.19. Used 3 $3/1 and 2/$2.50/2 mqs.= $8.33+ tax. Because the $2.50/2 cps attached to 2 items, I also got 2 Arixona Teas x 50c and 2 laffy taffy x10c. Used $9 in RRs and got back $10 RR. Still a small mm.

That is VERY interesting. Thanks for taking the time to explain that. I am going to have to try to keep this in mind when buying multiple quantities of the same item in one transaction at Walgreen's.

Same thing happened to me...I bought over $20 of bayer products and did not get the $10RR and the manager gave me the same old stories cuz I used coupons. I went to another Wag and did the same deal and got the $10RR. Told the manager there that I was just at another Wag and I did not get the $10RR. The manager told me she will call that wag and confirm if I got the $10RR or not then she will force one for me. After she confirmed with the No RR wag, she did a return and re-purchase and gave me my $10RR!!

I think alot of these Wags are scamming us either by shutting off their catalina machines or programming it not to give us catalina.

Thank you for explaining that!! Yes, this is correct.....Usually, but it happens ALLLLL the time...so my BA always wants to do them all together, but we tell each other, scan individually! But yes, one at a time! I first noticed this when the Irish Spring was going on a couple months ago, weird system....as to why this works like this, who knows!

Just left the store, they tried to say the same thing about total having to be $20 paid CASH to get the RR. I had to argue, finally they decided to try it and the RR printed. Ugh....these people! I'll probably use the rest of my q's at HEB ....

Call the Catalina or email them I did and I'm getting my RR's! The manager gave me the story about RR's won't print because I used coupons story!

Awe this must have been why I did not get one for the Right guard a while back, she entered it as 2 and it was right after they put the new registers in. Thanks to whoever posted this, will make sure they scan every item individually from now on.

Went to WAG's in Homestead pA this morning, used 3 coupons bought 3 bottles of the 120 ct - also, bought 2 pizza's, used some Suave RR rewards and OOP was around $18.00 - got $10 back in RR and a $5 AARP REgister reward

then, on the way taking my daughter to work, I stopped at the Irwin WAG's and they didn't print. I noticed that the cashier scanned 3 times 6.99 and I asked her rescan each bar code and the $10 RR printed.

Went to the North Huntinton WAG's near Lincoln Way, bought 7 of the 36 ct - used 7 coupons and opps would have been less than $2.00. She scanned them individually - the manager came out and said I had to buy more to get the $10 and I said - the ad said to buy $20 and she insisted. I tried the larger bottles and still no register rewards.

So she went back to print out receipts for my refunds on my credit card.. Not going to leave the store without those. It took forever .. forever .. forever and I'm thinking I need to get out of here.. I have somewhere else to go.. a graduation party..

She came out and said I should not have gotten a register reward from the other store and she called and had the cashier reprimanded - AND I have to wait for her schemes and be late for my party.

That us not true when you have trouble with the RR's not printing you need to call Catalina or email them tell them you are not getting your RR's. I was having trouble with not getting them and they send me my RR's.

I looked at one of my receipts and cashier entered 6@3.19 and the rr still printed so not sure how true it is about the quantity key Being the reason it didn't print for some...

The store managers have the ability to program the catalinas for the upcoming sales with RR's but can't stop the machine for certain people. With the new registers, there has been glitches when using coupons. So the manager said it didn't print because of coupons is bogus cuz most of the ads advertise to get an RR with a Sunday paper coupon. In my opinion that manager is just being lazy to get you your RR. At my wags they just ring up the products with out coupons and 'cash out' (act like you'd pay with cash) and give to u the RR and then void the transaction. This happens all the time at my work. So it's not your fault it's the management at that store. Either they aren't programming the Catalina's or just plain lazy to help a customer out.. And for customer service they are not much help either. At my store one of or registers wasn't scanning when we would ring up people and all they told us was plug it in. My assistant manager was like ***?!! It's obviously plugged in we r not idiots!! So ya they don't know much and can't really help us with the register glitches.. My advise is have a manager ring it up again with out q's and then hand u the RR you deserve!! Good luck!! :-)
