I'm in Central Illinois and just had $42 in RRs expire. It would be great if we had a list of places that accept expired rewards in one place. Can anyone tell me where they accept them especially if its close by

My store takes them I just found that out 2 days ago...!!! It is a very YMMV situation... I would assume at the managers discretion....

I would RUN to Wags and talk to mgr. If you have more then one Wags, keep going till you find a mgr. that will accept...good luck....

I have never asked about that at my wags. i blow through my rr before they ever get close to the expiration date! I hope you do find a store because that hurts to have RR expire! I feel for you. Good luck!

My wags takes them, they still scan(no beep) even after exp.

I had a manager tell me he had no issues with it as long as they scan, but I've had a few cashiers at the same store reject my expired ones, so really YMMV.

I am in the same boat. Over $100 worth of RRs expired yesterday when I thought they expired today. I'm kicking myself this morning!

UPDATE: Found a manager who took pity on us Thank goodness!!!

Ouch! I did the same thing yesterday with $23 worth. I plan to run to a few Walgreens today till I find a manager who will allow them to be used. As far as a manager saying it is ok, as long as they scan, even a week before expiration they don't scan. The cashiers have been having to enter them manually since the new registers. Good luck finding a manager that will allow you to use yours.

Don't lose hope! I had two that expired, a $5 and a $2. Every time I checked out yesterday, I asked if they accepted them. I was shot down the first three times. Then the fourth store, the girl in cosmetics said she would try them. No beeps, used both

I had a cashier take it from me, rip it up and throw it away. I was stunned and asked for it back and let her know that some places do you take expired register rewards. She informed me that she was told not to return expired register rewards to anyone. She said if anyone accepted it, the person that did would get in trouble. I made her call the manager up so I could get the register reward return back to me. I was stunned that someone would have the gall to do this. It was just as bad as if she had take a 10 dollar bill and ripped it up . Ridiculous!!!

Omg! That is your property! She should get written up for that! She's making up stuff.. It is yours. If a customer gives me one to ring up with and it's expired I give it back to them ((my store doesn't take them :-( )) unless they tell me to throw it away.. So sorry
