| Someone tell me I am not wrong!
I went in to do the Kelloggs deal today. I bought 3 poptarts and used a $1 off 3 Q. I tried to use the $1.50 RR from Finish to pay for it. They told me that I could not use it because the Q was for 3 items and I would have to buy a 4th in order to use the RR. I said no I understood that I could use as many coupons including RRs that I had items. She argued I could not. Who is right?

Your $1/3 attaches to 3 products and then the RR wouldn't have anything to attach to. Your cashier was right. :/

Ditto. Cashier was right. Any $/X Q's attach to X items, and therefore are included in the item per Q ratio. Just one more nuance to pay attention to when shopping at Wags! |

Easy way for me to remember is register rewards are from the manufacturers and they count the same as manufacturer coupons do. Wag's coupons on the other hand do not.

IF your store still has the old NON touch screen registers, try giving the RR first and ANY x/2 or x/3 (or any coupon that is good for more than one item). Register logic in this case is if the RR is given ahead of the x/2 or x/3 MQs, it attaches to at least 1 of the items since OYNO RRs are non specific while the regular MQs are specific for items they have to attach to. let's say for your trxn with 3 pop tarts, using (1) $1.50 RR and (1) $1/3 MQ. You have 3 items using 2 coupons. If you give the RR first, it attaches to 1 pop tarts box leaving 2 other boxes for the $1 MQ to attach to. Register won't beep as long as your subtotal does not go into NEGATIVE before tax. No part of coupons can pay for sales tax, if there's tax to be paid. This won't likely work if your stores have the touch screen/Smart Registers so you have to buy a filler.
