Since when is this Wags Q Policy?

Hi everyone,

I went to Walgreen's tonight, and bought two bags of Halls cough drops, a bottle of the contact solution that is free after RR this week, and I had a Q for $1/2 Halls cough drops, and then a $1 peelie for the contact solution. So I had three items, and I also gave the cashier a $4 RR. The register beeped when she went to scan the RR, and then told me it exceeded the amount of the bill. I said how because I still owe $11.68. She said it was because the Halls coupon took off for both bags, so I didn't have enough items for the three coupons I was using. I said since when it's never been this way before. So I threw a caramel up there and told her to try it again and it worked. I've never had this problem before! Has anyone else had this issue? thanks much I hope I explained this well enough.

Pretty sure their coupon policy is that you need the same amount of items that you have coupons for. (At least that's what it has been since I started couponing a few years ago.) Since the halls coupon was off of 2 items, it counted as 2 coupons, so that's why throwing the caarmel in did make it work. The RR also counts as a coupon. So technically speaking, you had 3 items and 4 coupons. I stopped shopping at wags a long time ago cuz it was just too confusing...I'll just stick to Rite Aid isntead! HTH!

The 1/2 coupon attaches to 2 items...the cashier was correct.
