I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place so please move if not...

I tried doing the "spend $15 get $5RR back" on the belvita, Oreos, etc., deal. My RR didn't print and I was told it was Bc I used coupons and from now on when you do a "spend $xx, get $xxRR" your subtotal had to hit the required amount after coupons or the RR wouldnt print. This has never happened to me before. Anyone else hear this yet? It was with the new registers...

Are you sure you had the right total before coupons? Like if the deal was spend $15 get 5RR and your pre-coupon total was $14.98 at wags it will not print the RR. As for the coupons, you can use them and still get RR. I do it all the time with no issues and my store has the new registers. So I would say your cashier was either mis-informed, or just not sure as to why the RR did not print so s/he made something up. Check your reciept and if your pre coupon total was $15 you can call catalina for your RR.

I agree with candycane...Unlike CVS, WAGs your total has to be exactly $15 or over in order to get the RR...You can use coupons...WAG's has often advertised this repeatedly in their advertisement, that you are able to use coupons and receive RR...they have it listed in this week advertisement for the Colgate Toothbrushes....Cashier was misinformed...After all, if it's advertised in their own circular how can it not be true?

I hade the same problem, I bought 5 belvitas and no reward, I hade them ring them up without using coupons to see what would happen and again no rr, they tried 5 oreos and got the rr, so the problem is the belvitas.

They told me the same thing with the platter spend so much get a register reward. That it was total after coupons.

I bought the Belvita too! And no RR. So that must be it. And now I can't find my receipt to take them back! Ugh. Thanks for all the help!

I bought $16 worth of stuff- 4 belvitas and 2 crystal lite. Used 5 $1 coupons and 2 $5 rr for an oop of $4.99. Should have gotten $5 rr, but no dice. Cashier told me it was because of coupons. Manager ended up giving me a $5 gc. Better than a rr, but still a hassle.

I had the same problem with the Colgate....mgr. told me that Colgate is saying they won't give RR if I used coupons. But, yet the toothbrush ad shows RR $3; $2 coupon =final cost $1.99....RR did not print...he went to office and then came back and handed me a form & it says: We're sorry the coupon machine for this store is unavailabel. Please use this form for your mail in request. We apologize for the inconvenience. Receive a Walgreens Coupon by Mail with the pruchase of participating Colage Toothbrush products. Offer good 4/29/12 throught 5/5/12 $3 RR. " You fill in your name address, etc. include teh receipt and they will send the $3......what a pia!!! I went to another Wags and had no problem getting my RR.....I honestly think the RR machine was out at the first Wags and I think they were CYAing...

I had the same problem with the Belvitas. I bought 5 of them. The manager at my store rang a test transaction on their system and bought 10@ $3 a piece. Her total was $30 no coupons and she still didn't get a $5RR. So she gave me another $5RR and said that it must not be programmed correctly. My store is still on the old registers.

No RR for me with 5 boxes wheat thins and 1 box ritz. Manager got the RR to print using the ritz.

I did this with 4 boxes crackerfuls (2/$5), 1 chips ahoy, and 1 oreo. (2/$6) used 2 $1/2 crackerfuls, and one $1/2 nabisco q's, $9 rr from nasel ease and $3 rr from kotex. Did recieve $5 rr no problem after using 5 q's, new registers. Thinking someone was incorrect on that one!! Hth!

I am glad I am not the only one this happend to. I bought 4 boxes of the Belvita's and 2 Planters used x 4 $1 belvita q's and 1 $1.50/2 Planters q, and was told the exact same thing, I had her page the manager and he tried and couldn't figure it out and gave me a gift card, now I used the 1q for Kotex and got my RR for that, seriously, they need to fix the system b/c it is crazy. Also, my store I went tonight at 8:30 p.m. and none of my q's that were expiring 4/30/12 would not work either, It is still 4/30/12 !! I said what this is insane?? Is this happening to anyone else?? I don't get how they are expired yet, it is still the date and the store is still open till 10 p.m?? I am really starting to not like Wags and I used to love them

Oh no, they totally did, but no one could explain to me why it kept happening??? I have a really great manager that is very helpful and kind, but I felt bad b/c it held things up for awhile while he was trying to get things fixed. He didn't know why it was happening either, I don't think the employee's are liking the new system???

If you don't have your receipt just return them without receipt they will put the money on a wags card


For those of you who are told you cant get RR with coupons - Pull out an ad and ask them how come it says you can in the ad and show them one of the ads that have RR and Q's

Went to Walgreens CT last night. Tried purchasing 3 Maxwell House Coffee @ $5 each for product total of $15. Used 3 $1 Q's and $10 RR from last week. The $5 RR didn't print & cashier tells me it is because my total is less than $15 after the $3 coupons are applied. So, she voids it and we try to restructure the transaction. So, I try to purchase 3 Maxwell House Coffee $15 and 2 belvita $6 for product total of $21, used 5 $1 Q's for after coupon product total of $15 and $10 RR from last week. No $5 RR. Cashier says oh you can't use a RR to pay because it brings your total below the $15. You have to actually PAY $15 to get the reward. I told her that isn't correct because I did the shaving cream deal last week $26 in product less $13 in coupons & paid with RR from previous week, out of pocket was a few dollars & I still got the new $10 RR. Did this multiple times without any problems. I asked her how the whole system has changed in a few days. She says they don't have any control over it. The computer makes the decisions. Ha! So, I told her to keep her products because Walgreens is making it to difficult for me to buy anything so I was leaving. I then went to another Walgreens and tried the Belvita deal - bought 8 boxes used 8 1 Q's - paid $14 and tax out of pocket, still no $5 RR. Talked to the manager who scrutinizes my receipt and looks really confused. So, I walked him through the transaction and the receipt. He tells me I have to fill out and mail a form to get the RR. He comes back & says oh there is an storewide alert that the Belvita reward isn't working. And I don't have forms so I will give you the $5 cash. What is going on at Walgreens. Is it really just depending on which cashier you get?

I pointed this out in the ad and was told the "no coupons can be used to get RR" only applied to the " spend $xx and get $xx RR" deals. That if you we're only purchasing a single item deal the RR would still print. Weird. I'm super excited about the Aveeno deal coming up so I really hope This isn't true.

I've had numerous problems the "spend $$ get RR" deals. I have stopped doing them. They also told me it was because I used coupons. If that is the case, why do some people get them and others don't. I have no problem when buying a specific product for a RR so I stick to those deals only. Walgreens is losing my business with all the problems they have.

I had the same problem so the cashier tried to force the reward by ringing up the five belvitas with no coupons. The reward did not print that way either. It may be the registers are not programmed properly.

I agree! I am also now giong to start boycotting the buy $30 get this lovely item for FREE at CVS as all my cashiers are having the same pre-coupon craze
