$5RR Into Another $5RR?

I may have not understood this along the way, but....

Am I wrong in thinking that a person can't use a $5RR(Almay) to use in a transaction that is due to produce a different $5RR(Bayer meter)?

I could have swore I learned that, but it worked just fine. I bought a meter, almay foundation, Matchbox car, 1 pk stickers and 2 Theraflu's.
Paid with my coupons and then one $5RR from Almay.

All of my RR's printed out correctly for the transaction.

As long as they are from a different company than your fine and your RR will print!
