I looked to see if there was a thread on this,but couldn't find one.
This is the first time I purchased meters with MIR.My husband and I purchased four from Walgreens last week,and four from another store.
We started to get the rebate info,and they are all expired 8 months ago.How can they advertise a deal that expired that long ago?
How many meters did you buy,and did you send the rebate in?
I did email both stores about this,and waiting for a response.
I'm not happy that they can do this.

If you were able to get the meter for free after coupon, the rebate will be voided anyway.

I purchased a bayer meter last week for 14.99, free after rebate, I did not use a q, I also noticed the expired date, I called the company, and on the recording it said the expiration date was being extended, I mail in the rebate a few day ago, this is the first time i have ever done this, I hope I get the rebate with no problems, good luck.

if u buy other items and use the up to $30 q, can they tell if u got the meter for free, thus making the mir void?

Last time they had this deal the MIR were expired, too. I sent mine in and got my check back without a problem.

Bayer is well aware of their current coupon. in this WAG sale of 14.99, it is easy to spot if a coupon was used since it will show MFG coupon 14.99. that is enough proof to them that a coupon was used.

HOWEVER, beware because even if other coupons like the RRs are used which ring up as MFG coupon, they still have reasons to reject submission. just FYI.

if no RRs are used and receipt shows the sale price and taxes paid, there will likely be no problem.

no worry about the expired MIR form, they honor it knowing many of their meters weren't sold before the offer expired. Just make sure the strips AREN'T expired for those who bought them for the strips. I was told by a buddy, she can still use recently expired strips.

since you called it should be good to go. When I called, I got a real rep. and she took my name and the serial no. of the meter and signed me up to honor the rebate offer. I did receive the check. This occurred several months ago for me.
