Yesterday I bought 2 of the Almay mascaras and used the Walgreens q from the November coupon book and it worked fine, took $8.00 off. Then I bought a Herbal Essences shampoo and mousse, used the B1G1 coupon and the Walgreens $1 coupon which would not work and I didn't know why, however I just read here on the Herbal Essences post that it is probably because the Wags q is for the bigger bottle of shampoo. Also, I bought 2 Glade sense and sprays, used the $4 man. q and a $2 peelie...which is a $2 man q and then the $1 off of 2 glade from the Wags November coupon book and it beeped...anyone know why this one wouldn't work? My main point is that I noticed that the Almay coupon for $8.00 says MFGC next to it on the bottom of my receipt where all the coupons were deducted and usually a Wags q says WAGC next to it...why is the Wags q from the coupon book being classified as a MFGC? I am wondering if this is why the Glade q from the coupon book for $1 would not come off...if it is being considered a MFGC then that meant I had 3 Man. q for 2 Glade products instead of 2 Man. q and 1 Wags q. Does anyone know if they are classifying Wags q as Man q now? Anyone with receipts from yesterday or today does it have WAGC taken off at the bottom? Like I said the only one that went through for me was the Almay and it says MFGC next to it...say it isn't so that they are considering the Wags q as Man q now The coupons in the coupon book DO say Man q on them...they also said that in October's book also but on the receipt they were deducted as WAGC. Thanks for any help with this, trying to figure out what is going on.

I am not 100% fluent on Wags anymore, but the monthly coupon book has been printed a manufacturer's coupon for awhile. But other coupon books, like the healthy savers book and in ad coupons, are still labeled Walgreens. I get snail mail coupons from Walgreens all the time, and I would say 50% of the time, the coupons say manufacturer coupons.

As for the receipt thing, I have no idea. There are so many more Wags people here that could probably give you a better answer!

Thanks for the reply Right, they have been called manufacturer coupons in the book but were coming off on the receipt at the bottom as a Walgreens coupon(WAGC) Yesterday I noticed that the Almay coupon from the coupon book said 8.00- MFGC instead of WAGC.

This happened with the Wags coupons out of the activity book as well. I don't know why.

Not always. I remember the Triaminic and Theraflu WAGc from current HSB (orange cover) all rang up as MFG coupons in receipt and still took the regular IPs/inserts coupons when I gave them first.

as to WAGc monthly book IVCs beeping, most often it is because they are specific for sizes so that if we buy a bigger or smaller size than what it is good for, it beeps. I also noticed this from last month's Almay BOGO deal on eye shadow, concealer, eye liner, etc. The $4 IVC worked only for Bright eyes, exclusively for the items pictured in the IVC. If scanned for other Almay eyeshadows, it beeped. They must have changed programming of IVCs recently. Years ago, IVCs were good for many items of one brand of make-up, much like a regular mfr coupon good on ANY

my transactions yesterday beeped too even though i had the right count...turns out it was because the wags q rang as a man q (for the almay) ...now when i ring out I will keep extra fillers on hand

For the Herbal you used a bogo Q (attaches to two items)and another which means you would need 3 items. Same with the glade, you used a off-two-items Q and another Q off one item. That means you need 3 there too. I had this happen to me the other day. I could not figure it out until I remember I used a $$ off two coupon. Register would not take my last RR (for any amount, ever $1.00) If I had figured it out then, I would have just grabbed a filler.

Tanks! I still can't wrap my brain around this I know I used a two off coupon on the Glade, but the $1/2 was supposed to be a Wags q. out of the November coupon book, so not a manuf. q.

I am still wanting to know if anyone use any coupons out of the November coupon book that came off as a Wags q and not a manuf. q? Anyone?
