Can someone tell me whether the codes I would be buying expire (i.e. do you have to use them within a certain amount of time from your purchase?).

I thought of that as well because it shows the 42 cent stamp on the cover. Looking all over the box and envelope I do not see an exp. date
Also, the package says "includes gift certificate for 20 photostamps, shipping included" without a date or an amount.
So... No expiration date, would be my guess.

According to what it says on the upromise website it's $ 8.00 per transaction.
It takes anywhere between 10-45 to receive your cont. in the account.

Last year I got a free stamp, it was a promo special. I ordered it online and because I has the toolbar photostamps.com picked it up as a purchase & they put $ 8.00 into my account.

oooh as soon as I saw this MM I ran (literally...) to wags and they had them fully stocked and on clearance!! I bought 3, and will go back tomorrow for wayyy more. The gal at the register (who is also prego like me) was like "ya..I thought about it but I dont know"...I explained how they are a MM, she looked confused, but then she goes "u know, you're prob better than I am at that stuff, honestly I can tell with how little you spent today, I'll leave the rest on the rack for you to buy and I wont tell anyone our little secret, it sounds too hard for me to figure out!" I did one yesterday, it was easy. You can do different borders and such. When you hit a border theme, its hard to tell, but there are arrows below it and you can change borders within the theme.

I signed in thru upromise and searched the P's for photostamps. Once you know what picture you want ( and I think you can also use just a drawing, like say you were a realtor, you could use your business card) its easy.

I am so pleased with this. Even if postage were to go up, worse thing would be you ad a 1 or 2 center, they still could be used for a long time.

Thanks, I saw these in the store but they didn't have clearance sign. I'll be checking them out tomorrow. I checked the Upromise site and didn't see anything that says you only get the $8 once, but I don't know much about Upromise. Can someone confirm you get the $8 Upromise for each time you shop?

OK-here is a question for ya-what do you do with the $8 once it's credited to your UPromise account? I thought that this was for saving for kids' college. Is it like pp where you can request it to be sent to your bank account or what?

I have officially lost my mind on this deal...
When I first noticed this deal I purchased 1 box to make sure it would work, get $ 8.80 in stamps with my boys picture on them and that was that. Than when I realized you get $ 8.00 into Upromise account I thought great, going back to get more...bought 7.

Than I had the bright idea to call around. Found another Wags selling them for $ 10.49, they had 4 left & was holding them for me until today. Get there today and he says "we found a total of 7 of them, how many do you want?" I was not going pay $ 10.49 each for 7 of them.
Told him if he could match the other store's price @ $ 7.19 - give me all 7...guess what...HE DID.

My kids better be thinking Harvard or something with all the UPromise dollars they'll have...

Thanks for bringing this deal to my attention. I bought one pack for $7.19 at WAGS today. I placed the order through upromise (hopefully the $8 will show up soon). My WAGS had about 7 packs left, I would like to buy more packages and repeat the whole thing.

I can't wait to get the stamps, they should be cute.

I'm doing pics of my boys & having a set sent to Grandma & Grandpa in IA.

Hi. I have not taken money out of upromise yet, but no its not like paypal and you DO NOT have instant access as far as I know.

It is for college savings. I know someone who took out when there kid was in college and I think you have to write a letter (real letter, not email) don't remember if you have to tell them which college they go to and then you get a check mailed. I am going by memory, but that is the bulk of what I remember.

I paid for the 7.19 with my walgreens card, which is not registered. Should I have paid with my registered visa card on upromise or do I get the $8 whenever I "shop" for the photostamps through the upromise website?

UPromise works in different ways.
1. Using registered credit card
2. Using registered grocery or drugstore card
3. Shopping online starting with the UPromise website (upromise.com/shop online/old navy - just as an example)

With this Photostamp deal it's # 3.
Go to the upromise website, log on, click shop now, in the search type photostamp.com you will see the website listed (along with others) click shop now under the photostamp logo and create an account to create your stamps.

As far as taking $$ out, there is a way, not sure the specifics but check out the tab on " use your earnings"
UPromise is for college, to pay student loans, etc. Example is from UPromise you can transfer the $$ you make into a 529 account to make it interest earning.
