| So I went to Wag's to get ivory soap...
The 3 pk of ivory soap was on sale today for .99 and i had the $1/1 (PG 7/1) 3 of them, Just to make sure i also bought at the checkout counter a bottle of diet coke cause i was thirsty. The lady scanned my first 2 coupons and hesitated for the third to make all 3 - 3 pks free and said "Im sorry the computer wont let me scan the coupon cause the price of the Q is more then what is left for the soap" I had .97 left for the coupon, (stupid me didn't bring the coupon policy with me) and a line was forming behind me. I asked couldn't u just manually ring in the coupon for the .97???? She says no I cant.....I was pissed so i paid and went home and read the policy which stated they were allowed to manually ring up a coupon if the price of the coupon exceeds the price of the product....I HATE my wags store....

![]() I really dislike when I have a cashier like that. I've had it happen to me at Walmart which really made me angry and I did speak to their manager. But never my Walgreens. They are super nice and recognize me when I come in. Guess that's a small town for ya. |

I know how you feel. I had a weird experience at CVS a few days ago. I had a rather large transaction and the cashier wouldn't listen and just started grabbing coupons and scanning randomly. I told him to scan my debit card and cash cards after all coupons (the card scanner wasn't working, so it had to be done on the register). He just grabbed whatever and started scanning. Line was forming and he got to the last one and said, your total is "4x.xx." I said, no it isn't. I told you to scan all the coupons and cash cards first. He said, "Well, you'll have to pay the $4x.xx, you saved a lot of money already. Once I scan the cards, I can't scan any more coupons, it locks up my register." Nope. I told him "You'll just have to void the transaction. I can wait." He looked at me like I was crazy. He called the manager, who voided the transaction. After all was done correctly, I paid $11.xx" and got back $25 in ecbs. Stand your ground. Their job is to process your transactions. Who cares if a line is forming. I've stood in line many times and I'm sure I'll have to do so many more times. |

| Thanks! I've been doing this for several years. After a while, you just get to a point that you don't really care to hold up the line for a minute if you have to. Right is right. For $30, I'll stand there for more than a minute, making a point is just icing on the cake.

I ended up giving the bars of soap to other family, I hate ivory it dries my skin, but the ivory isn't in the ad scan, can I still pm if I have no proof? I stil have 3 more coupons I could use and will on it at Walmart if I can

| As far as I know, you need to show them the printed ad. Sorry, I didn't realize this wasn't advertised in the circular.
