| Advertising in store
Hi, I'm brand new to couponing, shopping in Walgreens and in the US! Today was only the second time I've ever been in a Walgreens, but I had the Covergirl coupons from the sunday papers, and the Walgreens flyer from the paper said that cover girl was buy 1 get 1 50%. I was SO excited. But, in the store, there was nothing about the buy 1 get 1 50%. Is that normal? If it's in their flyer in the paper, they don't advertise it in the store on the shelves? I didn't want to waste my coupon on full price make up ![]() ![]() Thank you for answering my newbie question. |

They normally have stickers up - but mine sometimes gets missed. Check the store ad in the front of the store, or have them price check 2 items at the register and they can tell you |

My local Walgreens never have all the sale tags up. I usually just double check the ad and do the price check thing previously posted. I'm new at couponing and Walgreens was really hard for me until I got buddy buddy with my favorite cashier there. She helps me out on the deals a lot.
