States sure can differ can't they? in MN you have to be 18 to serve or sell and in ND you have to be 18 to sell, but 21 to serve (bartend, waitress, etc.).


I don't shop at Walgreens very often - so haven't heard any codes, but you can be sure that if I do I'll be looking around to see if they match any of the ideas here

In Texas you can be TABC certified and sell/serve alcohol at any age (wow, I know!). To work in an actual liquor store you have to be 21.

Yea, here I'm TX u have to be 18 to serve alcohol and u have to have a tabc liscense.. (Texas alcohol and beverage comission) also if an person under 18 touches a drink glass that has alcohol in it, tabc can fine The restaurant. At least that's how we do it in my restaurant..

For security reasons, a stores codes are selected at random.
The codes generally mean the same things: voids, check approval, etc.

The most common calls are for change or for a pickup.

Code 50 seems to be the big question...
... but it's just a random choice from the operations trainer when the store is set up.
It can mean anything.
