I did one deal without the in-ad Q (because I went shopping before someone pointed it out) and the second time I did it WITH the in-ad Q. I got a crabby cashier that said "Well, technically I should have scanned that coupon first and then your free coupon, cuz you're supposed to scan Walgreens coupons before anything else."

I just ignored her. She is one of the few cashiers I have problems with so I just shrugged my shoulders and paid. I hate complaining about cashiers but she was just plain rude. First telling me they are supposed to keep Walgreens coupons and then proceeding to THROW it back at me when I said that the customer is allowed to keep them.

It worked for me! One of my stores allows overage and one doesn't so I just went to the one that allows overage, yippee!!!!
