I recall that to use a RR your purchase has to be that amount or more. Is this after all coupons ring through? For example, if I get the $5RR and use it to buy items that other coupons result in free with a few other cheap items (that don't add up to $5 by themself), will I need to have other fillers that total up to $5? I have some stacked coupon deals I want to get but don't know if I should add them to my first purchase (that results in the RR's) or if I should just buy the items that get me the RRs and then use the RRs to buy the items that I have stacked coupons for resulting in a zero balance after all coupons. Does my question make sense? I sure had a hard time trying to type it ![]() One more question...Say I have coupons for items that produce RRs and the coupons make the item free...would I still get the RR? I think this is what a manager was trying to explain to me. Said since my coupons made an item free it wouldn't produce a RR because I didn't spend enough. Thanks for your help. I feel like I'm slow to picking this up and want to try going today to take advantage of the ALMAY deal and want to know if I should ring it up separately or just add the other stuff I want to buy then. I'm not sure I'll roll stuff this time. Depends on how it all goes and if I feel like I've mastered this enough before trying more than one transaction Last edited by jennyg2bfit; 11-06-2009 at 07:10 AM. |

Let me try to answer you. ![]() If you, say, buy $5 worth of stuff and have $2 in q's, no you can't use a $5 RR to pay. Your total is after q's, you'd only owe $3, so you could use a $3 RR but not a 5. You could filler up to the $5 too, if you wanted to do that. Your RR also won't cover sales tax. Some states don't have taxes on HBA so no matter. Where I live the taxes is figured *after* the q's. Some states pay taxes on the before-q amount. At any rate, you can't use an RR to pay taxes. It will beep. So keep that in mind too. Quote:
